Cardiff and Vale Third Sector ICF Capital Investment Fund 2019 The Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Integrated Health and Social Care Partnership has allocated £100,000 funding from the Welsh Government’s Integrated Care Fund (ICF), to support new and innovative third sector community activities and services in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The Capital Investment Fund is open for applications from Monday, 21st October 2019 with a deadline for submission of 12pm on Friday, 15th November 2019. Read more

£37.5m available to help older people stay healthy & active A two-stage competition to encourage the development of products, services and business models to support people as they age, and their adoption at scale, has been announced. Food For Life Get Togethers – Funding available for local partners in Wales With the support of the National Lottery Community Fund, Food for Life Get Togethers bring people of all ages together through growing, cooking and eating good food. Not for profit organisations can apply for either opportunity from 22nd October to 29th November 2019. Read more

Opportunity for Localgiving free membership via Magic Little Grants Opportunity to get free membership if a group wants to apply for a £500 Magic Little Grant to help people overcome barriers to physical activity. Application closing date 30th November 2019. Read more

The Worshipful Company of Weavers Benevolent Fund The Fund's principal aim should be to support people in trouble, particularly young offenders and ex-offenders, and other disadvantaged young people. Preference is given to pump priming new projects, especially those which are innovatory and can serve as a model elsewhere. The next application closing date is 30th November 2019. Read more

Age Cymru Gwanwyn Grants Grants of up to £500 are available for groups to participate in the Gwanwyn Festival in May 2020. The deadline for applications is 6th December 2019. Read more


£120k fund launches for road safety projects The Road Safety Trust is inviting registered charities, CICs, social enterprises along with other statutory bodies to apply for a new £120k fund aimed at improving road safety. The National Garden Scheme Community Gardens Award Up to £5,000 is available for community groups in England and Wales to create a garden or similar project (such as an allotment) with horticultural focus for the benefit of their local community. The closing date for applications is 31st December 2019. Read more

Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme (LDTCS) open Looking for funding to develop a project to improve the environment? We are pleased to announce the fourth round of the Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme (LDTCS) for grants between £5,000 - £49,000 for projects beginning from 8th April 2020 is now open. The closing date for applications is 22nd January 2020. Read more

Sea Changers general grants Sea Changers is particularly interested in grassroots projects which galvanise community action and projects which increase the number of people taking action for marine conservation. The next closing date for applications is 30th March 2020. Read more

Architectural Heritage Fund Funding is available for groups to look at the viability of projects relating to the potential uses of a building, as well as towards assisting the development of projects. Read more

The HDH Wills 1965 Charitable Trust - The Martin Wills Wildlife Maintenance Trust Up to £5,000 is available to support the conservation and maintenance of the natural environment for the benefit of the public. Grants are made only to charities, which focus on the conservation of wildlife and the environment. Read more

DM Thomas Foundation for Young People Funding is available for projects helping disadvantaged young people in the UK and Ireland. Read more

The Rank Foundation – Pebble Grants Grants are available for UK registered charities and recognised churches with an annual income below £500,000 which are raising money for projects where the total cost is less than £1million. Read more

One Stop Shop Carriers for Causes Carriers for Causes grants are available for good causes within two miles of a One Stop shop. Grants, of up to £1000 will be available to support projects that ‘benefit local communities helping to improve lives and local places’. Read more

The True Colours Trust The Trust only funds registered charities or activities with clearly defined charitable purposes. Grants of up to £10,000 are available for projects working to support disabled children and their families. Read more

Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust Positive Pathways and Local Grants programmes open for applications. Read more

The National Churches Trust Foundation Grants for Maintenance The Foundation Grant Programme offers grants towards urgent maintenance works and small repairs identified as high priority within a recent Quinquennial Inspection or Survey Report. Also, small investigative works and surveys. Read more

The Naturesave Trust Funding is available for groups working on projects working to protect wildlife and the environment, support vulnerable groups and renewable energy projects. Read more

Nineveh Charitable Trust Funding is available for projects and activities of benefit to the General Public, with an emphasis on promoting a better understanding of the countryside. Read more

A B Charitable Trust Funding of between £10,000 - £20,000 is available to support registered charities that defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals whatever their circumstances. Read more

More opportunities for Active Inclusion Funding to 2022 WCVA is pleased to confirm that the next phase of Active Inclusion funding is now open to applications and will continue to be open for applications for the next few years. Read more

Localgiving discount available for Wales groups Localgiving is offering a 25% discount on its annual fee to groups in Wales. Read more

Arts Council of Wales Night Out Scheme Night Out is an Arts Council of Wales scheme that takes away the financial risk of bringing professional shows to community venues in Wales. They provide funding, tickets, advice and recommendations for great shows. Read more
