York Region Transit is the first transit agency in Canada to offer riders real-time trip planning on Google Maps. YRT/Viva real-time technology tracks buses by GPS so riders will know when their buses will arrive in changing traffic and
weather conditions. Riders can access the Google Maps trip planner by visiting google.ca/maps and clicking the public transit icon under “get directions”.
