THE COURT CIRCULAR The Official Ripley Court School Newsletter
MESSAGE FROM THE HEADMASTER Mr Gavin Ryan Dear Parents, As I was driving to school with my daughter this morning, besides chatting and listening to Baby Shark! I took a moment to consider the day ahead and all that it had to offer. There is always so much going on here at Ripley Court in all year groups every day and today was no different as it started with a Celebration assembly. But this wasn ’t any Celebration assembly; it was a bumper edition with so many scrolls, certificates, badges and medals to give out to lots of different children. When we had finished with the awards part of the assembly, I looked at the pupils and SO many had received awards. We often talk to the children about how important the effort is and that there wont always be a tangible reward but rather the reward is ‘completing the challenge ’, ‘ solving the problem ’, or ‘making the correct choice ’. However, receiving recognition, in whatever shape or form, is important and we will continue to do this after half term. Our Court Circular is, once again, a brilliant collection of some of the ‘Ripley Court normal ’ – amazing, creative, challenging and fun learning opportunities in many guises! I would like to draw your attention to the ‘Ripley in the news ’ section with an article in the Woking News and Mail of interest and our excellent Muddy Stillettos review which captured, very well, large parts of what makes our school so special for you and for our prospective families. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and collaboration as we work together to provide the most effective learning experience for your child. To all the staff who have worked so incredibly hard, thank you and I hope you enjoy a well -deserved rest! Wishing you all a wonderful half term holiday and I hope it is filled with lots of fun, family, laughter and quality time with loved ones, friends and the Autumnal outdoors. I look forward to seeing you around our school on Monday 3 rd November for the second half of term. Kind Regards Mr Gavin Ryan Headmaster
