We’ve had a great season behind us. With some nice victories, great battles, awesome teamwork, good laughs, cries, sweat, and some scars. But now it’s time to prepare for another battle. Another season is closing in, time to get ready and time to get you on board!

With pride, motivation, and dedication we present to you, our team for the 2019 season. Hope to see you yet another season and race even more, harder and stronger.

- FORMING THE TEAM

About 5 years ago Mark and Steve founded Team Trouble while riding alley cats throughout The Netherlands. After a few races they decided to form a team together with some friends. Just for fun. _ T E

After a few successes in alley cats, we decided to turn it up a notch and compete in fixed gear crits. The fixed gear scene

A

was growing and there were some races held called the ‘Vast Verzet Bokaal’, now known as the ‘NL Crit Series’. At these

M T

criteriums and at some alley cats, we met Tom Bergman, who had the same philosophy at the time: Ride Bikes, Drink Beers

R

and have fun whilst doing it.

O U B

Making the team stronger and faster became reality when Jos joined the following season in 2016. In the 2017, season our

L E

team grew even bigger when we added Renwil to the team.

2 0

Through all the races and training sessions, we have all become very close friends and spend a lot of time together on and

1 9

off the bike. With this and all the different qualities of our 5 riders, it’s safe to say we’ve got a very strong and diverse team for the coming season. And with your help, we could even grow stronger and gain our goals for 2019.

Stay in Trouble

Team Trouble is a fixed gear racing team from Amsterdam. We spend our summers riding fixed gear criteriums and our winters on the track, crossing thru the mud and indoor training. Needless to say, we Dutchies live and breathe cycling year round. For the last few years we’ve been pushing ourselves to perform on a higher level nationally, as well as on a international and have fun doing it!

as a result, we’re ready to make the coming season even better. First of, we

But as you’ll probably understand, looking good is just a small part of it and out and getting as ready as we can be for the start of the season. Great equipment is also a vital part of a sport such as fixed gear racing and with this we can use your partnership! Making sure we can direct our full focus on what matters: racing and not having to worry about our equipment or our safety. Therefore we’d love the chance to represent your brand and have you onboard as one of our sponsors for the 2019 season.

Being more into explosive sports sitting on a bike for hours just didn’t cut it, it wasn’t until I discovered alley cats that the love affair with bikes began.

At first, I mainly competed in alley cat races because of the adrenaline, but when fixed crits came in to play I switched over and have been a part of the Fixed scene ever since. Fell in love with the sport and the people and got 100%, head over heels involved. Organizing crits from A to Z, planning trips and making sure we get some great team footage during the races.

_ Why do you ride? First and foremost, because it’s fun! And what better thing to do than doing fun stuff with friends. Next to that to develop myself, both physically and mentally. Cycling, amongst other sports which demand a lot of perseverance, pushes you to go the extra mile (quite literally). And what’s a better excuse to grab a beer than after a ride?!

Born and raised in Amsterdam, the city of the bicycle. Grew up with riding bikes since the age of 7,5, that’s how we roll in Holland! As a young gun, I started the fixie life at 16, working at Pristine (Amsterdam’s Fixed Gear shop) and Meesterknecht as a barista. Addicted to donuts and guitars, Renwil is all smiles and laughs. A little guy with a huge heart who always makes sure there is food pre- and post-race. He might not be the tallest in the peloton, but be sure to keep an eye out for our zippy. All the extra’s add something unique to daily life…and besides that, it makes me clear my head, brings me new inspiration and helps me create new ideas and concepts. I love my early morning commute to work, through the dunes and Dutch countryside, which make me much more relaxed the rest of the day during work! Nothing beats taking my son for a ride on his ‘Early Rider’. That small bike has some serious knobby tires which he shreds, just like his dad does : )

Now into our 5th year as a team, team Trouble has been reloaded with a fresh look for the year ahead. The new season presents another opportunity to hit the pedals even harder and this is where we could use the help from your company. We are a loyal, hard-working team which fully understands that sponsorship is not just about receiving great products. It’s being able to race for a brand, promote their products on and off the bike and be proud of the brands you represent.

We hope to proudly welcome your brand on board for the 2019 season.
