cruising the fiji islands
Experience the Romance of the South Pacific 100% Fijian, 1000% more fun... Blue Lagoon Cruises takes you on a journey through paradise, cruising the Mamanuca and Yasawa Island groups. These idyllic lands lie off the western coast of Viti Levu, and have some of the most beautiful and striking scenery around. You’ll see traditional Fijian villages, swim in crystal clear lagoons and gaze out on tropical vistas you previously thought only existed in the movies! We’ve sought out unique experiences and more contact with the Fijians of the Yasawas. Each and every day and evening there is an array of wonderful activities and unique experiences.
Intimate cruising The small size of Blue Lagoon Cruises boutique cruise ship, Fiji Princess, is just one of the things that makes a cruise with us so special. Measuring 179 feet (55 metres), she can access bays and islands that would be impossible to reach in a larger ship – we can get so close to shore that we can tie off to a coconut tree and you can swim to the beach! No jostling with hundreds of other guests on board and at busy port calls - even when full we have just 68 guests onboard. The vessel’s modern decor is nautical and fresh, with echoes from the romantic age of cruising gone by. You only need to unpack once and then let your floating hotel take you from idyllic place to idyllic experience – every day somewhere and something different!
All shore excursions included* Not only do we offer an incredible array of unique experiences every day of your cruise BUT they are included in the price. Most cruise companies charge US$100 a day plus for excursions adding a lot to your total cruise cost! *Diving and Spa treatments are the only exclusions where there is an extra charge
The “Fiji Princess” experience Blue Lagoon Cruises was the founder of small ship cruising in the South Pacific. There’s less open ocean cruising and more time ashore in superb anchorages. With over 60 years experience cruising the islands of Fiji, we know all the best places to take you. Who better to show you their home than the Fijians themselves? We pride ourselves on having an all Fijian crew and with one crew to every two guests ratio you just know you will be looked after. Our crew will quickly know you by name and every way you turn there will be a big “BULA” welcome. Blue Lagoon is sold internationally so you’ll get to meet travellers from all walks of life and all parts of the world. A highly experienced chef redesigned all our menus for us with an emphasis on the use of fresh local produce and inclusion of traditional Fijian recipes.

Vinaka Fiji Charitable Trust & Vinaka Fiji Volunteering During your cruise we visit some Vinaka Fiji Volunteering projects operating with the support of the Vinaka Fiji Trust. Blue Lagoon Cruises is involved as a principal sponsor. The Trust was established in 2010 and works towards improving the provision of basic needs and amenities, often taken for granted in modern society, yet frequently missing from village life in the Yasawas. Its goal is to give the people of the Yasawas the skills, knowledge and materials for a future where they no longer require assistance, but can be self-sufficient and fully sustainable. We do hope that what you see and experience will encourage you to join us supporting these projects through the ‘Vinaka Fiji Donation’. At the end of your stay you are invited to opt in for the DONATION AMOUNT that will be automatically added to your account. The automatic DONATION AMOUNT that will be shown is $100FJD per cabin for 3 & 4 night cruise guests, $150FJD per cabin for 7 night cruise guests. You will have the chance to decline it or alter the amount. Immerse yourself further. Join in on a future ‘Volunteering’ experience package. If it’s not for you, you can give these wonderful projects a further blessing by telling others. The volunteering packages are suitable for all ages. Families who want to ‘detox’ from the electronic world and experience real island village life, mature travellers who want to add a week of ‘substance’ to their holiday or young professionals and volunteers with a specific skill set. Choose from 3 programmes from 7 to 28 nights – Sustainable Communities, Children & Education or Marine Conservation. For more information about Vinaka Fiji volunteering programs or donating please visit vinakafiji.org.fj or facebook.com/vinakafiji or email firstname.lastname@example.org
