THE CONTEST 62CS Contest Yachts is very proud to announce her latest yacht in the range, the 62CS. Completely in line with our philosophy of combining high quality craftsmanship with excellent sailing performance and true comfort, the 62CS sets new standards. Discover the world, go where you want when you want, securely and comfortably; this is the leitmotif of the Contest 62CS. Designed by Georg Nissen, this impressive 62-footer offers easy sailing for two people, but can also comfortably host a crew of eight. The elegant lines of the Contest 62CS are characterised by a spacious open deck and a well integrated superstructure. Equipped with a twin wheel working cockpit and a large ‘social’ cockpit, you’ll be impressed by the sailing and living comfort onboard this yacht. The modern rig, with a small genoa and larger mainsail, combined with a balanced spade rudder, ensures that the 62CS is easy to handle. The large amount of storage space on deck - including dedicated stowage for your tender - make this yacht perfectly suited to long passages. Below deck you will immediately feel at home in the modern, light interior which subtly blends modern materials and finishes with impeccable craftsmanship. Renowned interior designer Birgit Schnaase devised this new Contest look in close cooperation with the yard. Various interior options give you the opportunity to choose a design that best fits your particular needs, depending on whether you wish to sail with two, with a group of friends or with a professional crew. Please step onboard of our new flagship and discover just how enjoyable and comfortable sailing can be!

DESIGNER’S COMMENT “With the development of the Contest 62CS we wanted to create a high performance cruising yacht that would maintain high speeds on passage but offer great levels of comfort. The yacht has high stability, far in excess of Ocean A” standard. With a fine bow and soft motion the 62CS is an excellent sea boat. The modern rig is also performance orientated with the sailplan weighted towards the mainsail. It and the just over 110% Genoa are easily handled by a small crew from the cockpit. Taken together all these factors define fast comfortable cruising.” Georg Nissen, d e s i g n e r
