MARS Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun in the Solar System. Named after the Roman god of war, Mars, it is often described as the "Red Planet" as the iron oxide prevalent on its surface gives it a reddish appearance. Mars has two moons, Phobos and Deimos, which are small and irregularly shaped. Mars has approximately half the diameter of Earth. Mars is a terrestrial planet that consists of minerals containing silicon and oxygen, metals, and other elements that typically make up rock. The surface of Mars is primarily composed of tholeiitic basalt Of all the planets in the Solar System, the seasons of Mars are the most Earth-like, due to the similar tilts of the two planets' rotational axes. Marsâ€™ average distance from the Sun is roughly 230 million km 1.5 and its orbital period is 687 (Earth) days. The solar day (or sol) on Mars is only slightly longer than an Earth day
CONDITIONS FOR LIFE WATER Water is the first condition for life. The temperature must be warm.
The atmosphere and the ozone layer contribute to soften the temperature. Life would no be possible under very severe volcano eruptions.
The atmosphere and the ozone layer protects us from solar harmful rays.
Gravity contributes to keep the atmosphere and the liquit water in the oceans.
Oxygen, hydrogen,carbon and nitrogen are essential to enable life on a planet.
FIRST LIVING CELLS
They were unicellular beings that developed in water. All first froms of life were developed in the oceans. Later, plants and animals got adapted to the life on land because the ozone layer. If you look at any animals, you will realise that its body is adpted to the place it lives and the food it eats.
MY IMAGINARY PLANET
The scientist haave known that a new planet was found in our Solar System . Its name is Minerva , one of foodeses that people had admired more . This planet between Mercurb and Earth . Its orbit is unusual . This planet takes to rotate on its own axis for two days . Minerva is the biggest of the planrts in our Solar System . The force of gravity at the surface of this planet is small , so the people would float on the surface . Minerva takes to orbit the Sun for six months.The composition of the atmosphere is very special , but there is oxygen in it. The temperature is very hot if we compare it to the temperature on Earth. Minerva is rocky . There are two moons orbiting it , but there aren't any rigs orbiting it . One moon has got white colour and another has got grey colour . They were discovered when the planet was discovered. On this planet a person would float easily but as the temperature is hot this person would burn up. The scientists wanted to know Minerva and made a spacecraft to visit it. The astronauts have discovered that there are giant volcanos and rare animals. That can be the more extraordinary new of the history.
GLOBAL WARMING The Earth is warming up because certain gases in the atmosphere are increasing, particulary carbon dioxide and methane and CFC cheminals. If nothing is done to limit emissions, it is predicted that by 21100 the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere could be 2 or 3 times higher that current levels. This problem has to be dealt with on a global scale. Global warming may be a big problem, but there are many little things we can do to make a difference. Many greenhouse gases come from things we do every day. Using machines and driving cars is not wrong, however we should use them in on intelligent way: Produts wiht the "A" or "B" label are made to save energy. Buying Products with "A" or "B" labels will help protect the environment.
PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS I think that universe is an interesting topic and I like to know the planets and I believe that the life in other planets is possible. I would like to go to Mars because I want to know if there is life in this planet and I would like that there will are houses in the moon to live there.And I would like to see a black hole near me without devouring me.
