ECOVIVA | COOPERATED ECOLOGICAL PARK Degree’s Final Work Country|Year: Brazil|2017 Softwares: Autocad, Sketchup, V-ray, Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.
A social cooperative focused on the farming, processing and marketing of natural, healthy and sustainable foods. Its implementation aims to: Encouraging the community to enjoy natural foods; Boost urban, social and economic development of the area where it will be inserted; Promote planting and reforestation of native species of nutritional nature of the central region of the State; Support and engage with smallholder farmers and farmers with the know-how but ineffective due to no longer owning their land or resources.

The ecological park is made from a system of innovative metal structures that cross the terrain blending in with the natural landscape and interact as rainwater catchers for irrigating the gardens, as well as solar panels that heat up during the day to become massive illuminated pillars, also bringing users the possibility of a collective experience and living with the nature at night (pic.01). The porch of the cooperative’s front façade, conceived with illuminated structures (pic.02), which frame the park’s entire complex activities, offering people passing by the neighbourhood’s main street a natural, dynamic and enterprising picture of the fauna and flora of the region.

03 The project is divided into three main zones. In the front, there is the “public square (A), which introduces visitors to nature with functional species and provides an open space for socialising and living with some of the various species cultivated in the cooperative. (B) In the central part is the most private area of the cooperative, but it is also open to the visitors during its opening hours. This is an area where the visitor knows the heart of the cooperative’s energy. These first two spaces are integrated due to the walkways that run all the way through, sometimes elevated and sometimes at ground level. The third zone is the part near the dam (C), where the office, restaurant and the natural products store are located.

PROJECT GUIDELINES
Based on the studies carried out to produce the research, the concept to be achieved for the project and the place where the project is to be inserted, some guidelines were fixed that can be understood as goals for the creation of the Ecoviva cooperative project: • Combine the architectural project with the natural surroundings, considering the landscape and urban characteristics of its surroundings; • Arrange the paths of the lookouts already existing in this area; • Enhance lighting and natural ventilation to achieve a sustainable energy building; • Optimise and enhance the visuals of the surroundings, especially the composition of mountains and the lake in the background; • Create public and leisure areas inside and proximate to the building; • Design multifunctional spaces for events and lectures, to spread education, cooperative and agricultural practices; • Create a simple, cosy and fully functional space that reflects and values the natural surroundings without disregarding technical and mobility needs.

Visitors, while touring the cultivars, participate in an extraordinarily sensory and dynamic experience where they can have direct contact with native foods and species they may never have seen. In the terraces and restaurant area, there is a public space, where the guest has the opportunity to contemplate the whole set and the surroundings, which reserves visual for the combination of mountains of the city and the DNO’s dam. Also, inside the restaurant, customers can taste the natural cuisine cultivated in the cooperative or the farmers associated, and buy the products in the store to take home.

Starting from the concept of connection networks, for the allotment project, we thought of a mesh that went beyond the boundaries of the existing segregated urban island. The proposal is based on the integration of urban growth axis of the city with the potential naturalness of the region surrounding the VacacaĂMirim River and the historical
and cultural heritage of the KM3 region. Transforming the currently segregated intervention area into a versatile space that can receive and please the most diverse audiences. The natural axis goes beyond the building, linking the boundaries already consolidated and expanding and adding value to them, becoming an attractive point of the area.

Along with the proposed redevelopment, a housing development of social interest was introduced to the area, to relocate the residents, who until then lived illegally in the area and in dangerous conditions, and to promote leisure and trade to attract residents to the neighbourhood. , integrating it the city. Then, after a study on the constructive legislation of the area, the proposed subdivision works with a varied implementation of the buildings, so that green spaces are created and permeated, consolidating collective spaces already experienced by the community. Besides, the roads and pedestrian paths have beds and afforestation helping to drain the area liable to flooding.

PROFESSIONAL PROJECTS | LIGHTING DESIGN
COSTA BEBER | Lighting of a Residence Lighting is the way to something else that awakens a non-static way of looking and perceiving the architectural space. This
Office: Ilumine Country|Year: Brazil|2018 Softwares: Autocad, Lightroom and Photoshop
residential project is based on the concept that customers wanted a warm environment that could, at the same time, have plenty of artificial light incidence when needed. In addition, this is a residence with large spaces, so we worked with lighting that could form different scenarios in the same area.

PROFESSIONAL PROJECTS | LIGHTING DESIGN - LONDON
ATIS | Lighting of a restaurant Office: There’s Light Country|Year: London|2019 Manual work for the installation of lamps, elaboration of different scenarios through lighting, exchange of information with technicians of the area.
Customers requested to make this healthy food restaurant, located in central London, a practical and integrated space, where lighting would uplift and energize the environment by stimulating the pleasure of enjoying food and sharing it with others.
27 17
We worked with warm lights that emphasize the real colours of the food and the model of luminaires, used together with the interior design, creates an environment with industrial characteristics that presents customers with the idea of participating in the preparation of their meals.

DAN’S | Lighting of a Dance Studio Office: There’s Light Country|Year: London|2019 Manual work for the installation of luminaires; elaboration of different scenarios through lighting, exchange of information with technicians of the area.
I believe that lighting can transform space into an experience. To design it is necessary to know each type of lamp and light to provide its effects and combinations to value the characteristics of indoor or outdoor environments.
32
In this dance studio, we worked with technology that allows the lighting to bring dynamism to the images and encourage movement through dance. Each dance class may require a different rhythm of music and illumination as well. For a precise adjustment of lighting, we used a light control system via Bluetooth, a wireless technology what can be connected with smartphones, tablets and smartwatches. 19

Customers requested to use the structure of the old furniture and to keep some shades that resembled the kitchen that was with the family for over 25 years. Throughout a work similar to Tetris’ game, it was thought in the rearrangement of volumes to give a contemporary and practical environment to the current requirements of the family.

The design of Raquel and FabrĂcio’s guest room and office was conceived in a versatile and dynamic environment. Since the room area was slightly small, we used furniture designed to optimize the area and arrange the colours and textures to make the environment cosier. In addition, the lighting aimed to create different scenarios for the same environment: the office, the reading corner, the guest room and the storage room.

multi-purpose track | URBANISM AND LANDSCAPE CONNECTIONS Office: PARQ - Landscape Laboratory Country|Year: Brazil|2016 Software: Archgis, Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
The multi-purpose track proposed for the Campus of Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), RS, Brazil came to promote alternative mobility, leisure and leisure activities, as a purpose to improve the campus as a sectorial park in the urban scale. The track was completed in 3 stages, to observe how users

would relate to this new equipment. Today, with its final stretch completed, the multi-purpose track is 15 kilometres long, spanning the entire urban and rural campus, connecting spaces, facilitating flows and integrating people from inside and outside the university. The design, curved through the vegetation that makes up the campus, with its leisure equipment (image x and y) projected throughout the track, such as benches, tables and dumpsters, gives a sense of peacefulness, recreation and contemplation.

Leisure Time Country|Year: Brazil|2016-17 Hand drawing, watercolors, Cold pressed paper and brush.
To make watercolours is to express feelings. To put on paper the way you see life, with its colours and nuances, is to enter creative leisure, it is meditation. I like to draw truths from my life, as I see my current moment and, after the art is made, I notice some feelings of mine between the lines of the drawing. This representation takes me away from the present and makes me reflect.
