Within their world language experience at Mariemont Junior High, students are challenged to become more globally competent. Using meaningful communication and critical thinking skills, students cultivate their understanding of other languages, cultures and perspectives. Seventh grade students rotate through quarter-long introductory classes of Spanish, Mandarin and Latin. And 8th grade students select one language â€“ Spanish, Mandarin or Latin â€“ for a year-long class that counts as a high school level I world language class.
