On January 11, 2016, 2 of the Petitioners, led by Bishop Carlito J. Cenzon, with their group went to monitor the Sto. Tomas Forest Reserve. They had been receiving reports of the area being open to tourists despite the DENR order of prohibition, as aired last December 15, 2015 over ABS-CBN Baguio.
