$50 Learn how to raise capital for your small business! Businesses of all sizes need to raise additional capital for a variety of reasons. Sometimes, however, smaller businesses find it difficult to use the capital raising tools used by larger firms. This course will provide:  An overview of the legal and practical aspects of raising capital from investors. 

Examination of financing opportunities including crowdfunding and other types of traditional and nontraditional funding.

Highlight recent changes in state and federal law which provide new opportunities geared for smaller businesses.

Review of advantages and disadvantages, and the practicalities and pitfalls of various approaches.

Action steps to help businesses get started raising capital.

Instructor: Bob Terry, attorney and former Director of the Georgia Securities Division. Bob Terry is an Atlanta attorney over 30 years of experience in securities and investment law. He served for over eight years as Director of the Georgia Securities Division, the state’s securities regulatory agency. In addition to this, he has represented many small businesses, investors and securities industry members.
