THE NEW AUBURN UNIVERSITY STUDENT CENTER KICKS OFF THE SCHOOL YEAR WITH A VARIETY OF FOOD OPTIONS FOR STUDENTS
AUBURN, ALA. — The new Auburn University Student Center opened on Aug. 18, 2008, with seven restaurants for students to choose from. Outtakes, Starbucks, Au Bon Pan, Chick-fil-A, Coyote Jack’s, Chef Table and Mama Leones are all different places students can eat at on a daily basis, including the weekends. Each restaurant offers a variety of food and drink options. “I love all the new options to eat at now. My favorite is Chick-fil-A because now they offer a full menu unlike the one they had at the Foy Student Union,” says Ben Smith, an English major. The restaurants in the student center are all separate and on different floors. Some of the restaurants open as early as 7 a.m. and close as late as 10 p.m. Every restaurant has a large seating area and flat screen televisions for students to watch. Located right next to the Haley Center, the restaurants are in a convenient area for students to go to. The new center is also open on football game days for families to enjoy. Families can use the new center till midnight on those days. For more information on the restaurants or hours of operations please call (334) 874-0928 or visit our website at http://www.auburn.edu/student_info/student_affairs/stdunion.
