COMMERCIALGALLERY+FURNITURESTORE ThesiteislocatedinGoiania/GO,Brazil.The square in front of the site is frequently visitedwhichwillattracttheneighborhood to the stores. The project is suitable for all standardsofaccessibilityandgoingalittle further,itisalsosustainable. The commercial gallery in contrast to the furniture store is part of the project. This allowsadynamicinput/outputvaried.The junction also enables the unification into one project. On one side the entire commercial gallery in the form of straight lines,ontheotherhandtheFurnitureStore with its curves,  making a contrast very innovative.

CAMPUSCAFE Thesnackbarhasamezzaninethatwillserve asalookoutbecausethisisthefacadefaces south, which has a magnificent view of the city. The internal space of the tables is equippedwithadoubleheight.Theoutdoor areawillbeforrestandrelaxation,covered withwoodgivinganideaofadeck.Thewest facadewillhaveabrisesoleiltoblocksome solar incidence that is intense in the afternoon. The structural system of the building is  mixed, part concrete (which supports large spans) that will be used in the service area, the other system is the metal frame to supporttheglazedfacades,givingagreater FLOORPLAN lightnesstothedesign.

HOTELROOM More than comfortable and functional, this roomwantstobebeautiful.Thewindowsget allthelightduringtheday,inspaceswhere thefurniturehassimpleandsolidlines. Spacious, functional, light, lines are lean, versatilityisthewatchword.Theactorsinthe scenearemetal,wood(lacquer)andtheglass in addition to synthetic materials. The furniture gives an idea of continuity, and closing cycle, providing an contemporany ambient. Thedesignofalargebathroomwaspresent since the beginning, favoring a view and providing a spacious and private ambient. Theaccessdoortoenterinthebathroomwas strategically hidden in the closet, with the intentiontoreducetheimpactcausedbythe entranceofthebedroom.

COMPLEXMULTIFUNCTIONAL Theregionofthesiteisverywelllocated,in front of Praça Nova Suiça which is a central point of this neighborhood. After a site analysis, the focus of the project is to prioritize pedestrian and public transportationinfavorofanewparadigmfor mobilityinthecity. Internal access is a free choice of flux, with shortcut options going through the gallery. Popular restaurant is a great attraction for local workers, transit riders and the general public,offeringmealsatanaffordableprice ®$1.00)andagreatopportunitytobringthe publictoshopinthecommercialgallery.Thus generateacontinuousflowuseronthethree proposals.

MEDIATHEQUE The project始s program was to design a medialibrary, a new conception of building which archive different types of medias, for example: audio, video, periodicals, interactionexpositionsandothers. The conception looked for big spaces with differentusestointegratethem.Moreover,in the upper floor was located a free space, whichenabledifferentusesduringtheyear, for example, interactive use, temporary exhibition or an expansion of the acquis, makingthebuildingflexible.

MINI HOUSE The idea is a cube of 3.8 x 3.8 meters with internal modulation of 60 x 60 cm. This modulation includes rails where cabinets slide. It is adaptable to the needs of a particulartimeofuser始sday,whichresultin severaldifferentlayouts.Thekitchentableis foldabletowardsthewall,andthecouchisa mobilethatturnsintobed.Thus,everything inthehouseismodulated,sincethestructure and coverings, even the closets, the bathroom,thekitchen,thewindows. URBAN&HISTORICAL INTERVENTION Thekeyideaoforganizationisrelatedtothe use/meaningofbuildings.Colorfulpathways directtheflowaccordingtotheirmeaning. Thenewbuildingsandattachmentsarepure forms, with repetitions of elements and rhythm,keepingtheheightandsymmetryof the square so that these new buildings are not contrasting with the existing buildings, butthereisadialoguebetweenthenewand old. Some buildings were proposed a b a s e m e n t  c o n n e c t i o n  w i t h  t h e i r attachments, in a result of this they are not affectingtheurbanlandscapeabove.

EXTENSIONPROGRAM -URBANMOBILITY Duringtheyearof2011,MariaNatáliahadparticipatedofan ExtensionProgramsoughttocontributetotheconstructionofa newparadigmforurbanmobilityinGoiânia(cityinthemiddle of Brazil) and surrounding towns, from the integration of knowledge between the professors and students of the University with the municipal technicians, based on three distinctgroupsofthematicactions: · URBAN MOBILITY: Its guidelines and application to Goiâniaandsurroundingcities; · UNIVERSAL ACCESSIBILITY: focus on sidewalks and publicbuildingsandcommunityuse · SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL ALTERNATIVES: focus on bike lanesandtheirpossibleintegrationwithpublictransportation. The shares themes developed in the Extension Program culminatedinthreemajoractions,each: · Thetheoreticalcourses · Workshops(taughtinashortcourse) · Thedevelopmentoftechnicaldocument

Beyond the Technical document on guidelines for a cycle networkinGoiâniaandthesurroundingcities,wedesigneda bike'sproject-connectingtheUFGSamambaiaCampustothe UniversitaryCampus-andcyclinginfrastructureprojects(bike lanes,bikeracks,etc.)fortheentireSamambaiaCampus,asa pilotprojecttoinitiatetheimplementationofafirstpartofthe cyclenetworkproposal. Shortcourses,oneoftheproductsdevelopedbytheExtension Program,weredividedintotheoreticalcourseandworkshop. Facing municipal managers and technical professionals involvedinthefield,weretaughtbyteachersofUFG,andthe courseware was helped by the students participating in the project through research about the actions thematic references.

BIKEPROJECTCONNECTINGTHEUNIVERSITYCAMPUSTOSAMAMBAIACAMPUS


EXTENSIONPROGRAM -URBANMOBILITY TheExtensionProgram,wasformedbyasetofactions that intended, as a whole, contribute to sustainable urban mobility, especially for the city of Goiânia and municipalitiesthatcompriseitsmetropolitanarea.For this,weadoptedaperspectiveofreflexiveactionand dialogued, where teachers and students, at first, broughtthedebate,theconceptsandmethodologies of respect to contemporary issues addressed. Later sought interact and absorb the experiences and practices of municipal managers and technical knowledge accumulated over the years of public administration,culminatingincooperativeactivitiesof projectdevelopmentandtechnicaldocuments.

URBANMOBILITYʼSWORKSHOP

Thus,theextensionprogram"Buildinganewparadigm forurbanmobilityinGoiânia,"succeededinitsprimary objectives, contributing to new perspectives not only thoseinvolveddirectlywiththeprogram-studentsand facultyoftheFederalUniversityofGoiás-asmunicipal managers and technicians who participated in the programresultsinordertocombineknowledgefromall sides. Building new prospects is something that takes time and dedication, and Outreach Program was responsible for planting a seed debate on Urban Mobility.
