Is the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infects cells of the immune system, destroying or impairing their function. Infection with the virus results in the progressive deterioration of the immune system, leading to "immune deficiency." And the immune system is considered deficient when it can no longer fulfill its role of fighting infection and disease.

Countries with the highest number with HIV are the countries not developed like South Africa with 5,600,000 people; Nigeria with 3,300,000 people; India with 2,400,000 people; Kenya with 1,500,000 people.

Abstinence simply choose not to have sex , use condoms during the sex, to use clean syringes, getting Tested for to know if you have the HIV,and in the process of lactancy the mothers with HIV shouldn’t nurse a child. HIV can be transmitted from mother to child via breast milk.

How it is fought The people is foughting against the HIV with associations, camgpains‌the people are helpful with this. Now there are many treatments etc.Only 34 people can receive treatment against HIV. In 2012, 2.3 million people around the world were infected with the virus.

HIV has no cure, but treatments of nowadays the disease are controlled. But you must be careful not to transmit HIV to others. It has decreased the number of new infections by HIV among children in more than 1,500 new infections daily. 9.7 million people receive treatment to save their lives. .And Many people are on antiretroviral therapy in the world.

Today scientists are in agreement that we could see the beginning of the end of AIDS (HIV).Because if we would have avoided that disease to spread, this disease today does not exist.
