HOUSES

The houses are wrapt in a tight or loose dress which will improve the energetic conditions. The use of the greenhouse typology is not only to control the temerature but is applied in a very carefull way so some parts of the existing building keep visible to respect the history of those houses, they can keep some of the existing windows and doors and by doing so reduce the renovation costs. Some houses will extend others maybe decrease and maybe some of them will meet each other. By joining some of the blocks ,renovate them and make it wheel chair accesible those houses can perfecty be transformed into a elderly centre. In between to former houses some service areas can be provided and for example one elevater can serve several blocs. The elderly will still live in the same kind of house they are used to and most imporant... they keep living in their beloved park!

The piece that we are proposing as an urban infrastructure have been designed from the assembly of many others. Each program is redistributed , works on it´s own but at the same time is complementary for the other pieces. The different combinations of this pieces generate new programs and new possibilitys. This situation allows each piece to reshape itself to get adapted to the most convenient program for the different scenarios, including the possibility of colonizing the rest of the parking lot if needed.
