Now choose your main delight from the menu; If you’re thinking of becoming a ‘veggie’, stop now: the Charcoal Mixed Grill, with shish tawook, lamb kofta and lamb kebab will keep you a voracious carnivore for ever. You can’t resist tucking into these dishes with such enthusiastic fervour. Four Seasons chefs make everything extra nice: even humble hummus looks desirable, their crème brulée is extra tempting and their Pizza Bianco with its mozzarella, porcini mushroom, truffle, beef bresaola, and arugula is the most colourful charismatic pizza I’ve ever seen… Shish Barak has nothing to do with American politics, but everything to do with one of the great Middle eastern dishes: lamb dumplings in yogurt sauce – healthy, tasty, satisfying and refreshing at the same time. And, by the way, the vermicelli rice was a revelation in how light and tasty a rice can be. Exquisite, well-crafted yet delicate and dainty, the enjoyment like the variety of Elements desserts was possibly unending. In fact it would have been but we had to leave; the business lunch was over, with a vow to cancel appointments and make it a leisure afternoon repast next time.
