Find ways to understand each other’s focus, culture, similarities and differences. 3. Develop trust and determine areas of confidentiality. 4. Make a commitment to work with your partner; commitments go both ways. 5. Proceed cautiously, determine who is in charge of what. 6. Agree to spend whatever is necessary to make it work; spending also goes both ways. 7. Focus on goals and success.
