FIRST FLOOR PLAN
Supportive housing for homeless youth promote for Attention Homes. This a new ground up, three-story building over parking, mix-used with offices, retail and affordable housing. This project has overcome many requirements due to the strict zooning for downtown Boulder and the controversial of the project. Part of the project is the relocation of an existing historic house in the plot to allow the creation of a dynamic and open skin with a courtyard space. The building has a concrete base for the underground parking and a wood structure over grade. One of the requirements of Boulder was to emulate the materials and architectural style of the surroundings of the project. The aim is to recreate the materials and main architectural icons that represent the historic neighborhood in a vibrant and dynamic faรงade made of strips of different materials.

Natural Grocers Fort Worth, TX / 2016. This particular kind of groceries stores follows a prototype system for faciliting major regional or national expansion. The main characteristics of this system is the develop of the interior spaces around the retail area and the delimitation of the different retail areas through bulkheads and ceilings with different materials. This project has been developed through the Vega a.VDC process that gives the client the insight they need to make critical decisions and to know where their money is going â€“ all before a general contractor is on board. This allows the client the benefits of hiring a general contractor for pre-design services, but without tying them to a specific contractor for construction.
Facade Consultant / Collaborations
Renovation project for new offices where the central space it sets free attaching the communication core, services and patios to the surrounding buildings. The aim of the new shells is to allow the maximum permeability, transparency for the new office space. Both facades are four-sides structural silicone Low-E glazed curtain wall exterior systems designed with different features to suit the requirements of the orientations to achieve a high sustainable performance.

New ground-up triangular floor plan office building with an exterior load-bearing structure that creates a lattice skin around the glass shell. In order to provide the maximum transparency to the interior space, the facade is a two-sides structural silicone extraclear Low-E glazed curtain wall with frame-less glass corners. The systems required tempered glass on the ground floor and on the corners to resist wind loads.

New ground-up office building composed for two main volumes that integrate the topography to conect interior and exterior space. The facades change with the movement of the volume and its orientation creating four main different skins. The glass volume on the north facade is a structural serigraphic glassing system with internal glass mullions that support the horizontal wind loads. The east facade is completely blind and made off a light metallic siding skin.The south facade has a different curtain wall systems, the top cantilever volume has a two-side silicone Low-E glazed system while the rest of the shell is a four-sides structural silicone curtain wall with vertical louvers. Dissetation + Space
Project of rehabilitation and urban regeneration of the Barrio del Pilar in Madrid. It is intended to retrieve both architectural and urban traditional values through a collective action of custom enlargement of the existing blocks and treatment of public space. All through a temporary intervention by stages that may generate long-term rehabilitation and complete regeneration of the super-block. The main strategy of the project is the generation of catalogs of possible extensions of the block both ground floor and housing that allow for the creation of a spontaneous new urban image and improve the flexibility of the dwellings with custom spaces.

This renovation project arises from the creation of a new ground level that aims to achieve Urban Regeneration in the Barrio del Pilar by adapting the current structures. After a deep analysis of the current neighborhood situation, a series of premises for its improvement have been indentified. These improvements of the new floor plan recolonizes the blocks through the patios or the facades with specific minor changes.

Creation of specialized urban fronts that respond to the surrounding area. A productive front that faces the shopping center, a few social fronts that respond to the needs of the residential blocks of the wings and a sports front associated with the park to the south. There is an intervention of the projecting perimeter, a plinth, which is leveled on the sports front and turned into new courts allowing visibility and permeability to the park. Sports area
Urban Structures Recycling
A renovation project of a residential neighborhood of open-block typology.Through the analysis of the block, some actions will be performed following a basic bioclimatic, sustainable and functional strategy which will establish its new structure and spatial configuration. It will create a hybrid model of a self-sufficient building that will recreate the entire infrastructure of a micro community that can be integrated into all uses of the city.

PREFBRICATED FACADE MODULES
A series of prefabricated modules adhere to the structure to perform different functions. The facade modules extend the space of the dwelling with multiple functions and can be chosen by the occupant to encourage the cultivation and use of constructive solutions using vegetables. The roof modules have sustainable and productive characteristics and create a community space on the roof with green areas,solar and mini wind power generation systems.

Shade Structure Botanical Garden of New York / New York, USA / 2010.
The creation of a movable element born from the analysis and compression of Voronoi geometry, is the main project generator. The repetition of this basic element establishes the roof structure in differents levels. Different structure positions have been designed for sunlight and shadow regulation according to all seasons of the year.An ephemeral wood structure arises to reproduce a natural scenario inside the garden and establish a relaxation area for the admiration and the enjoyment of the landscape.
