An innovative approach Innovative Input (II) designs and delivers mechanical constructions for offshore, onshore and civil applications that go beyond common solutions. This brings opportunities: requests that seem impossible at first become possible. Knowledge, Creativity, Experience Three keywords are important. Knowledge makes clear what is technically possible. Creativity stands for thinking like an innovator; out of the box. Experience is necessary in order to act innovatively. II started as design agency. Nowadays we deliver the final products as well. What we do and how we work II constructs dedicated (lifting) systems, winches and accessories like lifting beams. Products are completed with power and control system and mostly delivered with class approval documents. Your challenge An assignment often begins with a question. Then brainstorming follows; resulting in rough sketches presenting possible solutions. During this process, II designers frequently contact the client. This way we stay in line with our clients to achieve an optimal result. This method often delivers surprising solutions.

Cranes Companies often have specific requirements for a crane. II converts these requirements into an overall design. This may concern compact overhead cranes able to withstand acceleration on the open sea, horse frame constructions for the placement of concrete tubes or gantries for nuclear facilities.

Winches II supplies winches separately or as part of a crane or other piece of equipment. For instance, II supplies custom-made winches for steel wire, for hydraulic hoses and electric wire as well. Another example is a deadweight anchor winch with flexible damping, able to withstand swell at sea. Hoisting equipment It is often impossible to steadily hoist heavy loads without dedicated equipment. The design of hoisting equipment requires knowledge and custom-made solutions. II designs and supplies various tools of this kind, such as spreader beams, lifting beams, compensators and lifting frames. The beams of II are unique in their strength-weight ratio. Specials At times, there is no tool available to solve a specific offshore challenge. In that case II designs a special tool. For instance II has developed and delivered a subsea hammer system which can demolish rocky ridges in a harbour entrance. A hammer, connected to the heave compensated king post and mounted on a DP-controlled vessel, walks over the seabed and performs the demolition of the ridges. EYES LOOKING FOR YOUR SUCCESS
