1 >ENERGY SYSTEM RETROFIT Post Part 3 master thesis

This design is an alternative proposal to the demolition of one of the twenty-one towers of Tor Bella Monaca in Rome. Deriving from a mix of newly created functions it defines a new style of indoor residential and public space. These common spaces are interconnected by one main vertical path that intersects all areas of the building. This creates both an energy and architectural definition to the project.

Works on the existing building are able to decrease the energy consumption and to increase the production of thermal and elctic

energy inside the project. Greenhouses, solar collectors and micro wind turbines are integrated in the build-

ing. The building itself is linked to a conceptual energy infrastructure that could be implemented to all four towers of the sector.

2 >NEW SQUARE FOR BELLUNO (Italy) work experience_Ricci&Spaini

The objective of this project is to redesign the historical square in order to find a new beauty connected to its historical elements in one fluid design. The existing historical stone path will be integrated in a innovtive design which will seamlessly define pedestrian and vehicle pathways.

and

inter-

im markets allows for flexybility of design and use by individual owners. The proposed materials are to be of

local

reduce

for

transport,

construction

and

future

disposal

if

needed.


3 >REVO’ SPORT CENTER work experience_Ricci&Spaini

This concept shows a new design for rejoining two formerly connected terraces which sit above sports field. This will be done by creating an horizontal extension of land that will connect all elevations of the site in a seamless manner. It will also integrate a pedestrian walkway connecting both sides of the field together.

4 >MAIN PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION HUB work experience_Ricci&Spaini

The main public transportation hub in Sardinia is designed to become a new pole of attraction of the city of Iglesias. A main feature of the design is a tree lined central pathway, simulating an urban wood environment. It will connect all the main facets of the hub, vehicle parking, bus depot, train station and public buildings that directly sourround the site. This creates a new environment of nature comfortable during all the year.

5 >PASSAMONTI SPORTS CENTER Part 3 University thesis

Design project of a sports center in San Lorenzo, Rome. This project is a part of the gentrification of the neighborhood. It represents a new center of attraction: Passamonti Sport Center will be the main entrance to the linear roof garden which will replace the old causeway. 6 >COHABITATION HOUSING Part 2 Final University exam

Design concept of a residential building primarily intended for the elderly. The project is located in a south suburb of Rome. The layout of the building creates a number of different outdoor common areas each situated on a different level height. All buildings will be interconnected by a signle common level which will also create new indoor common public spaces. The project also includes green system for thermal heat retention, natural ventilation ancd self sustaining energy production.
