ello Monsters, Happy New Years to you and your family! With the new year comes a new you as signified by new year’s resolutions. These resolutions are goals for your new year that are meant to be completed by the beginning of the next year, but often times we do not come close to completing our new year's resolution if we are being completely honest. With that being said, my new year’s resolution for this Key Club term is to not oversleep for service events, make even more friends within Key Club, and to spend more time improving on my lacking skills. Hopefully I will be able to complete these resolutions by next year, but if not, there will be other years right? I hope you guys will be able to make resolutions of your own and complete it by the next year. Have a great day, and a happy new year!
here were many people that I helped make a difference within their life, but specifically one person I helped was my best friend, Sammy Quan. Meeting Sammy in freshman year was a new experience, especially befriending him. This created new memories by allowing me to help him make more friends and opening up to others. I motivated him to try out new experiences and continuously supported him to become more active within key club. I tried being there for him as much as possible by hearing out his rants and supporting any decisions he felt was best for himself and others.
y favorite part of key club in 2017 has to be the social party I had thrown for the club. I want to have this social at my house because I wanted to get to know the fellow member in a environment where I was comfortable. I wanted to get to know members. I didn't meet or didn't get to know. I also want them to know me. But it turned out to be more than just a social where I got to make a friend or two, but I got to know everyone that came. I made friends and has fun playing the games and eating the food they brought. At that moment I am was happy and full and I never regretted joining Sheldon key club and meeting the wonderful people that opened there doors into welcoming new members.
While volunteering at a Key Club event bers, you’re bound to experience some members of SHSKC share their funnies
“At DCON I was the first to cry in SHS Key Club even though everyone thought it would be Venh and on the last day me and Venh cried during the entire closing session from start to finish. “ -QuocViet Dam
t or having fun with other meme weird and funny moments. Here, st experiences!
“The funniest thing that ever happened to me at a service event was basically showing up 5+ hours early LMAO. I thought I was at the event that I was supposed to be at, but it was another run. With no money and a half charged phone, I decided to take a nap on a bench on the side of the State Capital. All the police officer kept looking…” - Sean Nguyen
