Smart Banking Capitalizing on an information-led transformation

Banking on the future

Who would disagree that change is a constant within the banking landscape? Coping with that change has become the big challenge. Competitive advantage is the prize for banks that transform their technology environments to harness innovation and exploit flexibility. These are the qualities you will find in FlexITy's solutions for banking, which include core banking, and branch and channel transformation. End-to-end technology during market change While cost pressures are still a concern, capital markets participants now focus on innovation, growth and risk management. They must increase revenue and profit lost as a consequence of regulation. To build and retain market share, you need a business model that flexes as conditions change in the market. While many firms are constrained by aging legacy IT systems, FlexITy enables financial institutions to: • Respond to changing business needs including risk, regulatory and security requirements, and competitive threats from non-traditional financial services companies and regional players. • Transform their cost base using flexible sourcing and usage-based pricing models, freeing up capital for investment in innovation and growth. • Rebuild customer trust and anticipate changing customer needs and preferences for emerging channels such as social networking, mobile devices and the Internet.

Government

Smart Government Where doing more with less is the new normal.

Improving the quality of life for its citizens

Governing for the future demands transformation from public service organizations in mature and emerging markets. Achieving high performance means reinventing public service delivery—across defense, public safety, justice, human services, public health, revenue and postal agencies—so our clients can tailor the best of the private sector to reduce costs, improve services, drive new insights, and unleash technology to deliver public service for the future. The path to smarter government is not an easy one. Through its work with forward-thinking clients, FlexITy has seen firsthand the kinds of transformation required to meet the challenges of the 21st century. It requires leadership with the ability to collaborate across agency and jurisdictional boundaries. It requires working with stakeholders to find best practices, utilize technology and create open and collaborative approaches to solving major issues. And, in the face of mounting complexity, it requires government agencies to use all of the data at their disposal to optimize their resources and inform their decisions. FlexITy knows that talking about smarter government is easier than implementing the actual components of change, so we recommend that all government agencies begin looking at specific strategic opportunities to reduce costs and improve performance. Areas that include: 1. IT infrastructure Significant savings, often in the range of 20 - 30 percent, can be realized if departments and agencies employ proven methods to reduce overall costs of IT ownership. 2. Reduce energy use There are a range of ways that government agencies can reduce energy related expenditures, including consolidating data centres and call centers, using collaboration tools to reduce travel costs and using smarter technology, such as analytics and asset management, to reduce energy consumption for fleets and buildings. 3. Maximize resource utilization 4. Optimize revenue 5. Improve business processes By moving customer service touch points to electronic platforms and rationalizing field operations footprints, government agencies can significantly reduce costs and improve citizens’ experiences.

Smart Law New approaches that address uncertainty and complexity

The Future of the Industry...

The business and technological landscape facing law firms has changed dramatically over the past twenty years. Mobility, call flow management, IP–based technologies, and the integration of collaboration–enabling technologies have all combined to make significant productivity gains possible, especially for knowledge workers like attorneys. But increasingly, the question facing firms is how to integrate, manage, and maximize the value of these technologies, even as new tools come to the marketplace and firm resources are stretched to their limits. FlexITy, and its UC-brand FlexTEL, provides a comprehensive answer refined to meet the needs of dynamic and demanding law firms. The offering begins with an innovative foundation and includes cloud–based network security and a superb custom configurable portfolio of innovative tools that can positively impact your firm’s economics and core business processes. Unified Communication and Collaboration’s UCC greatest benefits are realized when its software–driven applications exist in the cloud and are delivered through a software–as–a–service model. We achieve those benefits by taking the underlying advantages of cloud services– reducing the cost, complexity and risks of deploying new technology to dynamic environments – resulting in: faster deployment; an on–going technology refresh that keeps pace with a rapidly evolving UC market; ease of integration into business process and enterprise applications; and eliminating the burden of managing communications infrastructure and services, freeing IT resources to tackle strategic initiatives.
