Alfredo Allende ¿Cuál fue tu último viaje? En octubre de 2013 a Iguazú. Es un destino que ya conocía pero al que podría volver todos los años. ¿Qué hacés en el avión durante un viaje largo? Leo, miro alguna película, escribo ideas para guiones y después trato de dormir, pero me cuesta. ¿Te inspiraste en un vuelo alguna vez? Sí, se me ocurrió una vez una obra de teatro que al llegar a tierra pude escribir, creo que salió bastante bien. Una obra “volada”… ¿Qué nunca falta en tu valija? Libros, y desde que cumplí 50 años, anteojos de lectura. ¿Preferís armar un cuidado itinerario o hacés circuitos no tradicionales? Me gustan los circuitos no tradicionales, hay menos gente y siento que veo lo auténtico. Odio los lugares de venta de souvenirs. Si tuvieras que recomendarle a un extranjero un lugar de la Argentina… Visitar Iguazú, recorrer Buenos Aires, no perderse la Patagonia y si hay tiempo, recomiendo sitios que me encantaron como Colón o La Cumbre. Y a un argentino un lugar del mundo… Siempre menciono a París como ciudad, pero Italia entera es el lugar más maravilloso de todos. ¿Cuál fue el mejor viaje de tu vida? Cuando tenía dieciocho años fui a Estados Unidos con mi padre y recorrimos varias ciudades juntos. Imborrable. Al embarcar mi mamá me despidió diciéndome: “Disfrutalo, estás por vivir uno de los grandes placeres de la vida: viajar”. ¿Cuál fue tu experiencia volando con Aerolíneas Argentinas ? Fue una muy buena experiencia en atención, comodidad del viaje y puntualidad. Where was your last trip? I went to Iguazú in October 2013. It’s a destination I am familiar with but one that I could return to every year. What do you do on the plane during a long trip? I read, watch a movie, jot down ideas for script s, and then I try to sleep; but it’s tough. Have you ever been inspired on a flight? Yes, I came up with an idea for a play which I managed to write upon landing. I think it went quite well. A flying story… What’s never missing in your luggage? Books, and since turning 50, my reading glasses. Do you prefer a strict itinerary or set out on the non-traditional circuits? I like the non-traditional circuits because there are fewer people and the sites feel more authentic. I hate places where they sell souvenirs. If you had to recommend an Argentine destination to a foreigner… Visit Iguazú, tour Buenos Aires, don’t miss the Patagonia and if there’s time, I suggest places I loved like Colón or La Cumbre. And a place in the world to an Argentine… I always mention Paris as a city, but the whole of Italy is the most marvelous place of all. Which was your best trip ever? When I was 18, I went to the USA with my dad and we visited several cities together. Unforgettable. Upon boarding, my mom said: “Enjoy it, you’re about to experience one of life’s greatest pleasures: Traveling.” What was it like flying Aerolíneas Argentinas? It was a great experience in terms of service, comfort and punctuality.
Alfredo Allende es actor, director, guionista y dramaturgo de la escena porteña. Se formó con Raúl Serrano, Augusto Fernandes y Mauricio Kartun, entre otros maestros. A lo largo de su carrera ha participado en algunas de las ficciones más exitosas de la TV argentina, como Resistiré, Tiempo final, Los simuladores y Buenos vecinos. En la pantalla grande formó parte de clásicos del cine argentino, entre ellos Tango feroz y Arregui, la noticia del día. Alfredo Allende también tiene su faceta de director, de la que nacieron obras como Fueron los griegos, ¿Quién cocinó la Última Cena? y Silencio en la noche. En los últimos años el talentoso artista se ha sumado al éxito mundial de Violetta, la serie de Disney Channel que fanatizó a las niñas alrededor de todo el mundo. Además, se encuentra dirigiendo el unipersonal del actor Damián Dreizik, llamado Sistema Garage, que se presenta en el Teatro Chacarerean. Y en la dirección de dramaturgia de Vox Pop. Alfredo Allende is an actor, director, screen-writer, and dramatist on the Buenos Aires scene. He trained alongside Raúl Serrano, Augusto Fernandes and Mauricio Kartun, among other masters. Throughout his career, he has participated in the most successful shows on Argentine TV, such as Resistiré, Tiempo final, Los Simuladores and Buenos vecinos. On the big screen, he performed in classics of Argentine cinema such as Tango Feroz and Arregui, la noticia del día. Alfredo Allende also has a knack for directing, films such as Fueron los griegos, ¿Quién cocinó la última cena? and Silencio en la noche; three of his works. Over the past few years, the young artist added the smash hit Violetta, the Disney Channel series that has taken the world by storm. Also, he is currently directing the sole work of the actor Damián Dreizik called Sistema garage, on stage at the Chacarerean Theater. And on the direction of Vox Pop.
