FROM THE IDEA TO THE FURNITURE After a rudimental sketch of the vision, followed many simple paper models. The direction was not yet to be clear, but the conceptional process forced me to develope a certain use-of-shape. One day it became clear, this is it! Now only the realization of the vision had to be done.

LEAVE YOUR CAR KEYS AT

HOME!

http://www.eesc.europa.eu/design/about.html The weight of your car keys will bring the flower to full boom. If you take your car key, the blossom will close.

My approach:

Its your choice!

Do something good for you and the environment! Take the bike or public transport!

InnoStudio 3 Manuel Herndler

competition poster

A symbolic reminder of how you treat your environment nature - which every generation bequeaths its posterity. The link between all generations. Natures condition is demonstrated by a keyholder with an flower, which whiters if you take the car keys off the hook.

The concept of the lifting Drawer is rather simple. The idea is to combine the lowest and the middle drawer in a kitchen to one single drawer. That bringes a sleek and clean design, as well as hides the genius function of the drawer away. A spring supported lifting system on the lowest drawer unit.

When you can’t come to it, it has to come to you! Built in Lifting Drawer solution!

Same storage room as usual kitchen cabinets.

Spring suspended lifting mechanism.

Easy to operate with an ergonomic handle.
