The Literacy Toolkit is a unique audio-visual resource containing over 4 hours of guidance to improve children's reading, writing and storytelling. The pack contains activities, hints, tips and reminders, saving hours of preparation time. The highly visual charts, planning frames and task cards, will engage and inspire children to become storytellers. Customise for specific pupils or groups by adding your own audio onto every soundspot. The multimodal nature of the resources suits all learning styles. Differentiation at two levels supports pupils over a wide range of abilities. The toolkit has been developed and tested by teaching consultants.

Task Cards The 36 Task Cards can be used for fiction analysis and interpretation. They can be used flexibly by teachers to set individual or small group spin-off activities related to fiction texts that are being used in class.

Book Review Guide

Story Mountain Chart Story Mountain gives instant access to 2.5 hours of recorded information and hints on how to structure a story from opening to ending. There is key information on grammar and punctuation. Pupils can return to each section again and again, listening to instructions at 6 different levels. Use the recording function to add content, or to let children record their own stories. Find six different ways to start a story. Thought of a seventh? Record it onto the chart!

Fiction Analysis Books Six classic stories to be used in conjunction with the Fiction Analysis poster. Using the PENpal and Talking Stickers, children can retell their own versions of the stories, incorporating the detailed guidance from the Story Mountain poster.
