OUTSIDE LINEBACKERS Devyn Gonzales, Manteca, Sr. An All-VOL second-team selection, Gonzales is poised to have a big year as part of an impressive linebacker corps. East Union has high expectations for their two safeties, both entering their third varsity season. Isaias Hunter, Lathrop, Sr. The Sac-Joaquin Section’s runnerup in the high jump has a nose for the ball to go with the outstanding leaping ability. RJ Tisdell, Lathrop, Sr. Intelligent third-year varsity player is the last line of defense for a battletested unit that returns 10 starters. Malik Vega-Tatum, Weston Ranch Sr. Vega-Tatum is a versatile player who gets to step outside the shadows of Weston Ranch’s talented cornerbacks from 2015.
