WILFONG & ASSOC. LAW F IRM

Athens, Georgia

This law office is designed to be highly functional, as well as sophisticated and beautiful. The exposed brick creates an industrial vibe, which is juxtaposed by the sleek circular glass conference room, located in the center of the lobby. The conference room allows a visitor to walk completely around the lobby, enjoying the large windows looking out over downtown Athens, GA. To maintain privacy during a meeting, the glass takes on a frosted look with the push of a button. Each room, office and detail is strategically placed for a successful and productive law office.

The shipping container acts as a food cart for the town of Cortona and sells dried fresh pasta as well as pasta dishes. It is not just a steel box, but a living partner of the community. The food cart runs through the streets, as if they were veins, providing nourishment for the whole town. The mobile store is named PULSO, meaning pulse in Italian. The exterior is covered in a fiber glass casing decorated with a printed wrapping resembling cells, hiding the corrigated container.

This side is similar to a candy store with pasta dispensers lining the walls on either side. Pasta Heaven.

Japanese/Thai cuisine The Bahn restaurant is deisgned to create a comfortable and easy dining experience. The restaurant serves a Thai/Japanese fusion menu, allowing visiters to the country and the hotel to enjoy authentic asian cousine. Oriental rugs adorning the floors, combined with low lighting and comfortable seating, create a space that is warm and intimate inviting the diner to feel as comfotable as they would at home, thus the name Bahn, meaning “home in Thai. EATSY

Athens, Georgia Eatsy is a restaurant made “by the people of Athens, for the people of Athens.” Local craftmanship is displayed all around, from the art on the walls, to the chairs at the tables. Also, produce from local farmers is sold at the market attached to the restaurant. This same produce is used to create the New Southern Cuisine served at Eatsy. Built in a historic building downtown, the skeleton of the structure was not changed, although the interior has been completely redone. Inspired by the radial symmetry found in fruits and vegetables, the floor plan is oriented to “radiate” from the kitchen, the heart of the restaurant. A large expo window allows full views of the kitchen, ensuring the diner never loses sight of the produce and ingredients from farm to table. By raising awareness of the local resources available, Easty creates a sense of pride for the Athens community.
