Of Mice and Morro and Jasp Nov 10–18 • Ages 13+

An MTYP production in association with UNIT productions (Toronto, Ontario)

“The Amy Poehler and Tina Fey of Canadian clowning.” – the globe and mail Clown sisters Morro and Jasp feel the pinch of the economic downturn and decide to make ends meet by tackling John Steinbeck’s classic tale. The desperate clown sisters seek to stick to the story but will they both make it out alive? A Charlie Brown Double Bill

, You re a Good Man, Charlie Brown • A Charlie Brown Christmas Dec 8–30 • Ages 3+ An MTYP production

“Of all the holiday shows in the world, (this) is the Charlie Browniest.” – chicago tribune Charlie Brown has had a rough year and just cannot get into Christmas. When he is asked to direct the pageant, he is determined to turn things around PLUS everyone’s favourite accident-prone boy tries to muster up the courage to talk to the little red-haired girl. A musical holiday classic for the entire family!

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Jan 26–Feb 4 • Ages 5–12 An MTYP production The Pevensie siblings travel to the land of Narnia through an enchanted wardrobe in a theatrical adaptation of the classic C.S. Lewis story. Theatrical invention and imagination combine to bring all of the fantastical characters and magic of Narnia to life.

, It s Dark Outside Feb 16–24 • Ages 9+

A production from The Last Great Hunt (Perth, Australia)

“A rare triumph of theatrical ingenuity and human compassion.” – the west australian As the sun sets, an old man wanders into the night, hunted by a mysterious tracker. He chases his memories as they escape in an epic western about redemption and dementia. Puppetry, mask, animation and projections tell the beautiful and emotional story of this old man’s journey (without using a single word.)

Tetris March 23–31 • Ages 5-12

An Arch8 Production (Utrecht, The Netherlands)

Inspired by the game Tetris, this extremely physical dance quartet explores how we connect with one another, building a private language to communicate where the audience is invited to play along. For kids who can’t

sit still and who like to climb the walls.

Good Night Moon and The Runaway Bunny April 21-29 • Ages 3-7

A Mermaid Theatre production (Windsor, Nova Scotia)

“Features endearing puppets, stunning scenery, and evocative music of stories that have delighted generations.” – la weekly Writer Margaret Wise Brown believed that very young children were fascinated by the simple pleasures of the world around them. With gentle staging and meticulous puppetry, Good Night Moon is a celebration of familiar nighttime rituals, while The Runaway Bunny’s pretend tale of leaving home evokes reassuring responses from his loving mom.
