Topic - Mensuration 

Perimeter is the distance covered along the boundary forming a closed figure when one goes around the figure once.

Figures in which all sides and angles are equal are called regular closed figures.

Perimeter of rectangle is equal to the sum of the length of its four sides. Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 x (length + breadth)

The perimeter of a square is four times the length of its side. Perimeter of a square = 4 x length of a side

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is three times the length of its side.
