Maniero Elettronica is one of very few companies in the world that can supply more than 1100 models of panels, designed and realized upon this specific needs of the customers. We produce control panels with a power range from 0,37kW up to more than 132kW for 1 - 6 pumps or motors. Control panels with frequency inverter are the top of our range of products. The kind of control panels are presented in a specific catalogue. Every model of electronic panel with ammetric protection replaces the equivalent of 5-6 models of electromechanic panels thanks to the wide possibility of setting the ammetric protection. This allows to reduce the stock of about 60%. From page n. 36 you can find the Dry Check panels for the control of dry running without probes. All our panels are marked CE and are realized according to the ISO 9001:2000 certificate.

PM10/...kW-C-T-IL-2 Thermal Proctection for 1 single-phase eletric pump with Capacitor and Illuminated Switch

The thermal protections we propose are normally used to resolve the problem of singlephase submersed electric pumps that need, besides thermal protection, also a specific start-up capacitor and probably even an ON/OFF switch. Of course mains protection (circuit breaker etc.) is at installer's care.

Single-phase panels for control of electric pumps are proposed with thermal or ammetric protection. Ammetric protection allows with a single model to cover a wider range with power from 0,37 kW to 2,2 kW. N.B: For more than one pump please contact our technical/ sales service

The use of several modules means considerable financial savings and a much more compact design than when different items of complementary, self-powered equipment are used together.

Electromechanic star-delta control panel for 1 three-phase electric pump with thermal protection

Control panels with star-delta and reactance start up are used when there are problems of high inrush current and limited installed power, or in certain cases where, above certain powers, direct start up is impossible. For this reason we offer standard control panels and star-delta and reactance starters (statoric) with a two step start. In this way, the electric pump is started gradually. With the first step the motor is started, supplying partial voltage, with the second mains voltage is supplied directly to the motor. N.B. For loads with a strong starting inertia (e.g.: fans, compressors, pumps, mills, crushers, etc.) contact our technical/ sales office.

After star-delta and reactance starting, we propose the soft-start control panels with static converters, which are especially suitable for the starting of electric pumps for which is necessary to avoid acceleration and/or deceleration jolting. Acceleration and deceleration times can be adjusted independently as required; after the starting phase has terminated, the motor is connected to the line.

INTELLIGENT DRY CHECK MICROPROCESSOR-BASED CONTROL PANELS FOR DRY RUN PROTECTION

Maniero Elettronica, continuing its policy of launching state-of-the-art products, has now incorporated microprocessor controlled systems (intelligent) into its standard boards for protecting and controlling motors and electric pumps.

DRY CHECK Second generation ...easier to calibrate, more flexible, a greater variety of functions available.

These versatile systems can be personalised at any time as they are fitted with programmable software that can be changed to satisfy just one single requirement. The DRY CHECK function is a special feature of this new series of intelligent control panels that concentrate in a single control panel not just an extremely attractive price but also all the controls and protections that installers would normally require for their customers’ pumps. Controls and protections are clearly illustrated in the general characteristics. UNI EN 12845 FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM CONTROL PANELS

The new series of fire fighting control panels is in compliance with UNI EN 12845. We offer as standard production a full range of panels for electric pumps till 132kW featuring several type of starters, as well as service panels and alarm systems.

OUR PRODUCTS Our UNI 12845-compliant direct, star-delta and reactance start control panels are built in conformity with general EEC standards and they have the following technical features: • power or phase failure detection alarm systems; alarm system for signalisation of phase sequence error • all signal lamps are LEDs for signalling of: - phase presence of input power supply - phase presence of motor power supply - start request - pump running - starting failure • dry contacts outputs for signalling of: - power supply not available - start request pump running - starting failure • key-operated selector for Automatic – Off - Manual modes; • start and stop buttons and panel status signal lamps. • input for 2 pressure switches for pump control; • input for priming float switch • input for “pump running” signal pressure switch; • ammeter; • voltmeter with selector for phase voltage monitoring.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES Our panels also include other features as standard which, although not required by UNI12845, are often extremely important and useful to complete a fire-fighting system: • Phase failure signalling • All the outputs are available as switch contacts, but three of them also supply a signal when the relay is idle (“Power alarm” “Start request” and “start failure” ), and the fourth function likewise when the relay is energised (“Pump running”). • If used appropriately, the outputs also signal failures in the connection between the main panel and the signalling system in the unit monitored. • Timer for automatic stop of the electric pump for the application in the systems regulated by UNI 10779:2007 (appendix A) relative to the fuel pumps in the hydrant network: “Fuel pumps in a hydrant network must have automatic start and manual stop features, as envisaged by UNI 12845. Wherever deemed necessary, for all activity which is not constantly monitored, the automatic stop feature is permitted as long as the pump system is used solely by thehydrant network. In this case, the unit can stop automatically when the pressure has been maintained above pump start-up pressure constantly for at least 20 minutes ”. This function is featured as standard and is activated by microselector.

The daily, weekly and hourly timers are available either individually or already wired into the panels; in the latter case, the cost includes parts and labour. Equipment of this kind is useful for special cyclical requirements involving switching electric pumps, solenoid, valves etc. on or off. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

ACCESSORIES FOR PANELS: VOLTMETERS, AMMETERS ALSO WIRED We offer voltmeters and ammeters which can be fitted, on request, on all our panels. We supply the instrument either alone or wired into the panels; in the latter case, the cost includes cables and wiring, which means, once you have chosen the panel, simply add on the price of the ‘wired kit’ to find out the total cost of the product. In some rare cases it may be necessary (for reasons of space) to upgrade to a larger enclosure. Our sales department will let you know how much this will cost when they receive your order (if not agreed beforehand). To choose the right voltmeter, see the voltage specified in the model column, while for the ammeter, you will need to check the capacity (in kW) of the panel you intend to fit the instrument onto. Example: for a three-phase 5 kW panel, you will need the Voltmeter/ Ammeter Kit mod. K-V-A/2,2-5,5kW code 225.82.
