Pep rally, homecoming parade! Whitehall’s senior members of the cheerleading squad invite the community to the annual homecoming parade and pep rally beginning at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The parade will start at Putorti’s Market on Broadway and end at the Recreation Center. The Haynes House of Hope’s Trek For Hope is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 7 and offers a wide variety of races for runners of all ages. The event includes a 10-kilometer road race at 9 a.m. and a five-kilometer run/walk at 10:30 a.m. There will also be a one-mile fun run for children at 9:15 a.m. All the races start and end at Veterans Park in Granville.
