Bringing Farmers Together

The Ruralco Instore Days is a fantastic celebration of all things agricultural, focussed on bringing the rural community together. This year’s event is shaping up to be another exciting opportunity for farmers to network with other farmers and the wider agricultural industry. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet with industry players to hear first-hand about their products, services, new initiatives and technologies which can assist all farming operations,” commented Ruralco Group CEO, Robert Sharkie. “It’s also a wonderful chance for us to get together again following so many cancelled events. Opportunities for farmers to meet with other farmers are always worthwhile, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again.” This year’s Ruralco Instore Days will be held on Thursday, 7th July and Friday, 8th July. “We have long recognised that farming can be a lonely vocation, so providing opportunities for farming folk to come together has always been one of the big drivers behind Instore Days. “We look forward to seeing everyone, either at our marquee at Ruralco Ashburton, or at our Methven or Rakaia stores. We’ll have plenty of refreshments available at all three locations, so come on in, have a chat and access the great deals on offer in store,” added Robert. This year will see suppliers on-site in Ashburton to discuss individual farming needs across many farm supplies, seed, fertiliser, fuel, energy and service-based card suppliers, with an extensive network of Ruralco retail card suppliers participating through their own retail stores. There are also some great prizes up for grabs. Members can accumulate entries for this year’s major prizes - a 2022 Honda Pioneer 520 (RRP from $20,119), or a House of Travel voucher worth $10,000 by spending at participating suppliers (terms & conditions apply). “From small beginnings in 1994, Instore Days has grown and is now likened to a ‘mini field days’ in our Ashburton store, where you can benefit from deals across Ruralco and our suppliers. “Recent years have seen around 100 supplier businesses participating, with more than 2,000 members attending the two-day event,” concluded Robert.
