Are you looking for a Venue ? See what we can offer ! Centre Hire Information www.seafordparish.org.uk
St Luke's Centre may be the ideal venue for your perfect occasion! Whether you are looking for somewhere to hold your child's birthday party, venue for a wedding reception, mum and dad's special anniversary celebration (the one that you don't want them to find out about!), a dinner party or perhaps a more formal business setting such as a seminar, conference or meeting - then we are sure you will find that St Luke's Centre is your ideal venue choice! As well as our own activities, we currently provide facilities for local youth, including brownies and scouts. We hold holiday clubs for both young and old as well as coffee mornings and many other varied social gatherings of benefit to the community. The facilities at St Luke’s Centre easily lend themselves to running courses, such as craftwork, art, or dancing. Recent training courses held have included one dealing with Food Hygiene. Maybe you are searching for a suitable exhibition or sales promotion venue! To meet your needs, we have two halls available for hire. The smaller hall, (pictured here partitioned off), was built in 2006. It can accommodate about 30 people when unpartitioned. If the soundproof partitions are used it is perfect for the smaller business meetings, or social gatherings. Seating is totally flexible throughout the centre. A wide range of folding tables are available. In the larger hall there is a curtained stage at one end, whilst at the other there is a white drop down screen suitable for computer graphic presentations. Seating suitable for children is also available.
You have the option of the use of the whole Centre, easily lending itself to 'syndicate' type meetings. The larger hall, pictured here (with inset showing the hall entrance) can comfortably accommodate 80 to 100 persons. Whichever hall you choose you will find that they are light, spacious, extremely well maintained, but above all provide a welcoming environment.
Our excellent on-site facilities include a recently built kitchen, shown here, which is fully equipped and has the benefit of a serving hatch. Crockery and cutlery are available for use if required.
An 'induction loop' system is fitted throughout the Centre for those whose hearing is impaired. The premises has new and compliant toilet facilities for the disabled and as you would expect there is ease of access to the whole facility. Although St Luke’s Centre is without a car park, there is ample unrestricted on street parking around the Centre. Adjacent are two shops, one a newsagent / post office the other a general store - just in case anyone feels a little peckish or someone forgot the very item you really need!
