From the Desk of the Commander The new officers have been installed and have hit the ground running. One of the first things that has been done is that you should see a new roof on the hall by now. It was a long process but hopefully it has been completed by now. I would like thank last year’s officers, without them it would have been impossible to accomplish all the things that we did last year. I would like to thank three in particular that helped make things run the way they did. First is Johnny Griffin the Third Vice Commander who made the maintenance side of the Post work. He did a lot of things no one knew about but when it came to keeping everything running, especially the A/C Units. Second, Teresa Martens our Finance Officer, she did more with less then anyone will ever know. Last I would like to thank Debbie Jimison our First Vice Commander, who was my backbone. If anything was going on at the Post you can bet that she was involved with it. Without her my job would have been impossible. She was the one that made our Steak Nights the success that they were. Frank Jimison had a little bit to do with it since he did the cooking. To all the rest of the officers, Glenn Rhyne, Don Lee, Ken Bundrick, TK Johnson, David Price, Maryanne Nuemann, Frank Jimison, and Joe Everest thank you for all your help in bringing Post 75 back to where it should be. To all the volunteers and helpers, thank you for everything you have done and I hope I can count on you again this coming year. I want to let everyone know right now that is will be my last year as Commander so everyone needs to start thing about who they feel should be the next Commander and start working toward grooming that person or persons for next year. I will be giving the Post 100% again this year but one more year is enough. For God and Country, Rob Davis

Come out for Christmas in August with Bad Santa (Oz's evil twin) and Bad Mrs Clause (a.k.a Oz's evil twin's wife, Lou, who saying is "what you get me involved in"). FSU hosts Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans With Disabilities The Florida State University College of Business is hosting its second annual Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans With Disabilities. About 20 former veterans from various military branches are invited to participate in the summer for an intensive week of workshops and training to firm up their business plans and help get their startup business ventures off the ground. 2nd Vice Notes Hi, Please keep the prayers going for Patty’s’ son and friends as they recover from their accident. By the time you read this article there will be a lot of planning in the making. The e-board is doing a good job trying to please everybody even though that is impossible. For those of you that want to make the Legion a better place please come to the meetings and let your voice be heard. Thank you Oz and Linda for the Great Game nite on the 25th. It was nice to have a night off of work and not do nothing but have fun with everyone. If we can, We'll be there for the Bad Santa Nite in August. Hope your summer is good and your friends are many.
