Exchange, Empowerment and Dialogue on Islam and Feminisms 25th and 26th November 2016 In a Lecture an international Panel discussion and two workshops, the event seeks to bring together diverse approaches and perspectives on Islam and Feminisms. In the lived experiences of many Muslims, Islam and feminisms are in no way mutually exclusive concepts. The international panel following will take upon these points and discuss them on various levels. Hengameh Yaghoobifarah, Ludovic-Mohamed Zahed, Nursem Keskin Aksay und Emine Aslan will be Joining in from around the world with meaningful observations and interpretations. The debate will be followed by a Spoken Word performance by Fatima Moumouni and Moona Moon, suggesting again that also art is a legitimate and effective channel to liberation and empowerment.
