SENATOR ANGUS KING VISITS MTEC
U.S. Senator King (I-Maine) visited the MEMA Education Center (MTEC) in Brunswick, ME, on Monday, July 24, 2023 for a live fire demonstration of Bioheat®, a blend of biodiesel and ultra-low sulfur heating fuel, and EL100, a biofuel being developed at the University of Maine Forest Bioproducts Research Institute – Technology Research Center in Old Town, ME.
In addition to watching the live fire display, Senator King toured the state-of-the-art training facilities, met some current students, and sat in on MTEC's Factory Certified Heat Pump training course.
