ABOUT ME

W

hen I was a child I remember paper and color pencils were my “best friends. I always created my own tiny world with fully colorful toodles of houses and all of my loved ones living in a magical candy world. As I grew older, I imagined myself become an artist bringing the innovative, happy feeling to everyone through my drawings. After leaving my country home, I chose Interior Design and started pursuing my professional path in Canada. As an Interior Designer to-be, I believe we Interior Designers are artists who create an aesthetics, functional, and healthy environment where people can live better to grow better. My name is Mai Nguyen. I am a third-year Interior Design student at Algonquin College. I value accuracy and positivity which help me to grow and push myself in daily life and also in the field of Interior Design. I enjoy hand drafting, building primary foundation and develop the design concepts into stunning spaces. I love studying, exploring new design inspirations through reading, traveling and listening to all the creative peers around me. This helps me to think out of the box and bring a sense of uniqueness into the design.

MISSION STATEMENT

I

have always been motivated to transform innovative ideas into reality. I aim to create functional yet elegant designs through daily life inspirations. I understand every design project is fundamentally different and it requires special attention to meet each client's needs. Interior Design has often been considered as unnecessary amenity. I am determined to showcase the value of proper Interior Design that will contribute to a construction project. I am proud to offer my clients a design that creates practical and enjoyable interior experience with enhancement on the value of the property.
