Instructions: How to Use 1. Push the Switch up to turn the motor ON. Check whether the machine is ready to use. Make sure that no persons are standing near the machine, except for the machine operator. 2. Compare the cables/wires diameters with the feeding holes of the machine. Once you have found a suitable hole for your wire and cables, feed the wires through, one piece at a time. 3. Before feeding the cables/wires through the holes, cut off the head of the cables/wires to avoid gaps caused to the blades. On the “Output” side, if the cuts on the cables/wires are too deep or severe, please take the following measures to fix the problem: ①.Adjust the handles on the “Input” side-- tighten the screws, or loosen them. (M12 handles) ②.Check whether the cables/wires on the right side are positioned correctly as you are feeding them through the holes. ③.Ensure that the blades are sharp. If they are not, polish them with an oil stone. On the “Output” side, if you realize that the plastic (PVC) has been stripped, but the copper wires cannot be disgorged, please use the following points to troubleshoot: ①.Check if the springs are loose. If yes, tighten the screws. ②.If the diameter of the cables/wires is too small, please adjust the space between the two axises to 0.3-0.6 mm. ③.If the cables/wires you intend to strip are hot, they cannot be properly stripped. If the cables/wires have become blocked in the axises, please use the following points to troubleshoot: ①.Check if the V-belts have become loose. ②.If the springs on the press wheels are too tight, loosen them slightly. ③.If the cables/wires appear to be too oily, please wipe them. (CAUTION: Make sure that the machine is completely turned OFF when wiping the axises) If the blades are tilted: Check if the “center adjuster” is loose. If yes, adjust the screws of the two sides of it.

MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG THE MACHINE BEFORE MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE Problem

Solution

The machine does not turn on

Possibly there is a short in the electrical system. Make sure to first unplug the machine from the power source. Next inspect the electrical system.

Larger wires get jammed in the machine

Loosen the top hand cranks to take pressure off springs to allow more room for the springs to depress.

For smaller wire, the cut in the wire jacket is not in the center of the wire

The side adjustments could be out of alignment on the cutter rollers. The cutter rollers on the top of the cutting assembly can adjust right to left. The cutting blades should be centered in the middle of every roller. You can look down the middle of every roller from front and back of the machine to see if the cutters are in the center. If they are not, you can adjust the top cutter and rollers by adjuting the side bolts (with the lock nut) to slightly shift the cutter/roller. Make sure you do not tighten the bolts too much so the top cutter/roller assembly cannot raise and lower as wire passes through. Think of these bolts as side stops only, jut to keep the assembly inline, so leave about 1mm gap inbetween bolt and cutter/rollers.

The machine is excessively loud and makes grinding noise

The machine is not cutting through the entire jacket

Make sure you do not tighten the bolts too much so the top cutter/roller assembly cannot raise and lower as wire passes through. Think of these bolts as side stops only, just to keep the assembly inline, so leave about 1mm gap i nbetween bolt and cutter/rollers. Increase the tension on the top hand cranks. It is also possible that either you are cutting wire that has too thick of a wire jacket or too dense a jacket. These jackets may not be able to cut with this machine

THE MACHINE MUST BE TURNED OFF WHILE MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS

Troubleshooting guide: Q&As Q: What should I do if the machine doesn’t turn on? A: First make sure to unplug and then plug in the machine again. Also, check the electrical system. In most cases, a short in the electrical system has occured. Q: The machine makes such a loud noise, how can I reduce it? A: First, check cutter rollers. Blades on them should be centered in the middle of every roller. If this is not the case, you can adjust the top cutter by adjusting the bolts on the side. This result in slightly shifting the roller. DO NOT tighten the bolts too much, so that wires can go through with no problems. Q: What to do if the machine is not cutting through the entire jacket? A: Check the thickness of the jacket, maybe this machine could not cut it. If you don’t think that this is the case, increase the tension on the top hand cranks. Q: Lager wires got jammed in the machine, how can I fix this? A: Make more room for the springs to depress by loosening the top hand cranks to take the pressure off. Q: I have a problem with cutting the smaller wire, as the cut in the wire jacket is not in the center? A: First, check cutter rollers. Blades on them should be centered in the middle of every roller. If this is not the case, you can adjust the top cutter by adjusting the bolts on the side. This result in slightly shifting the roller. DO NOT tighten the bolts too much, so that wires can go through with no problems.
