FEBRUARY HAGERMAN CITY HALL

Tours, Markets & Festivals: These events bring visitors to the area, and give vendors more sales opportunities.

A Dual Mission: This program has a dual mission - Community Service and Employment. ce Partners such as the Hagerman Valley Foundation, often need help but don’t have the hiring resources. The DOL pays a stipend to the seniors while they work for the nonprofit. This provides older workers with a chance to use their experience in service to the community. Hagerman Valley Foundation: The Foundation is very pleased to consider all qualified applicants. Our broad schedule of events and activities provides plenty of varied opportunities for interested and qualified individuals. Please call us today. (208) 536-0094

Early next week, Planning and Zoning is going to have a workshop on annexation, the required paperwork and the process. The goal is to forward the required documentation to the City Clerks Office to start the notification process for public hearings by February 9th. This would give Planning and Zoning a time line to start

About the Program: This Department of Labor federal grant program assists low-income, unemployed people at least 55 years old with part-time employment with 501(c)3 non-profit organizations such as the Hagerman Valley Foundation.

IDEA Endowment Fund: Donations are retained as investment principal generating return on investment year after year to help ensure the continued operations of local organizations. Donations are tax deductible.

Former

Hagerman City Mayor

Growth has come to Hagerman whether we want it or not! In the past 3-4 years, I have watched property and home values increase substantially. Hagerman has so much to offer. The Hagerman Valley list of amenities are long and impressive. From the artesian hot water pools, to some of the best hunting in the state. In the summer we have the beautiful snake river for water skiing and fishing. The fishing is some of the best in the state. In the winter, the duck hunting is unbelievable. We also have world class hunting clubs you can join. I can go on and on. One thing the city of Hagerman and the merchants need to start looking into is an LID - Local Improvement District. An LID is a form of financing through the city that provides property owners an economical way to pay the construction costs of upgrading the utilities and/or infrastructure. We need to doll up main street, lighting, planters, electrical services, etc. The city of Buhl is a good example. Let’s get going and finish the job!
