Bella was awarded her championship with very limited showing. Her first weekend out at 6.5 months, Bella won a 5 point major & BOW under Judge Paula Nykiel and the next day took a 4 point major & BOW under Judge Dr. Donald A. Gill. Bella went home to grow up and her first weekend back out at 13 months, she was awarded 2 points and BOW under Judge Andre B. Schoen. Then Bella hit Regionals with a bang and under esteemed Judge Theresa L. Hundt, she took another 5 point major. Our sincerest thank you to Theresa for not only awarding her this major but this gave Bella her championship!! The same day, Judge Pam DeHetre also awarded Bella BOW! At the National, Bella was awarded Select Bitch as a move up under Judge Bill Shelton, our sincerest thanks to Mr. Shelton for recognizing Bella! We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to John and Addy Dolan for all their constant support and friendship – they have truly given us a gift with this special girl and we are forever grateful to the both of them for entrusting us with her!!

And to Esteban, our friend and handler, THANK YOU!!! You have been amazing and we sincerely appreciate your kindness and expert handling of Bella – what an incredible team the two of you make!!

appreciate the warm welcome I have received from so many of you since it was announced at the Nationals that I was taking over as the Eastern Advertising Rep. It was quite an exciting National- being kicked off by the Pilgrim DPC which was kind enough to host the cookout to end all cookouts! Goodness knows how many hundreds of pounds of meat the club purchased to feed all those that attended! My thanks also goes out to many of our South American friends, who after a long day of judging, manned the grills and gave new meaning to phrase “Southern Hospitality.” Exhibitors everywhere are gearing up for the Florida circuit. This circuit is infamous as kicking off the debut of next year’s specials. The circuit starts on January 12thh and runs until the 22nd in Brooksville. Congratulatory shout outs go to: Rebecca Roter and Karen Bahr on new CH Mick Rick’s Rough N Ready; Paula Tyler and Doris Molin on new CH Divina Diavolo; Michelle Kramer and Jim Lauver on their new AKC/UKC CH ADAMAS Bottle Shock of Mirabel; Sharon Pflueger & Bob & Sue Brace on their new CH Goldgrove Modern Design; Madeline and Pistol Tingen, Gwen DeMilta and Carissa DeMilta-Shimpeno on winning the Top 20 Conformation Event with GCH Alisaton The Flight of the Phoenix; Tommy and Melinda Moyer, John Dolan and Sally Gorman on taking Winner’s Bitch at the DPCA Regional Show to finish their CH Tiburon Ariel Bella Dona; Diane McGarvey and Mike Thomas on taking Winner’s Bitch at the DPCA National to finish their CH Holly Wood’s Angels N’ Demons as well as more recently a first Best in Show and Best in Specialty show for their GCH Holly Wood’s Sex and the City; Nancy Bosley, Julie Porter and Carmen Pitts on their 2011 DPCA Grand Prize Futurity Winner- Allure Fire In The Sky. And finally a huge congratulations to Esteban Farias and Jennifer Miller Farias on the news that they are expecting a baby in June! I’m very excited to announce that Kelly Lyn Marquis will be the featured handler in the upcoming February issue!. And as if that were not enough, we’ve made it a family affair with George and Linda Marquis as our featured breeders! I hope you will show your love and appreciation for this extraordinary family with your ads and words of support! If I can help anyone with their advertising needs, please let me know- I’m just a phone call, text or email away at (740) 971-7863 or
