Meðal annarra verka eru íþróttamiðstöð og sundlaugar á Bolungarvík og Flateyri, Heilbrigðisstofnun Vestfjarða og Kirkjubæjar skóli á Síðu sem var fyrsta byggða verk Jes Einars. Efnisnotkun og form heilluðu mig einna helst, sér í lagi form og áferðir í steypuverki og útfærslur á gluggum, svokallaðir hverfigluggar þar sem glerið er fellt inn í steypuna.
27 the health care and music school in Seltjarnarnes, the swimming pool building by Laugardalslaug, the detached houses Vogaland 2 in Reykjavík and Einilundur 10 in Garðabær as well as the home and studio of Jes Einar in Grjótasel 19 in Breiðholt, Reykjavík. Among other works are a recreational centre and swimming pools in Bolungarvík and Flateyri, the hospital in Ísafjörður and an elementary school, Kirkju bæjarskóli á Síðu, which was the first work by Jes Einar to be realised. I was fascinated by his use of materials and form, in particular forms and textures in concrete formworks as well as window features, socalled deep-set windows where the glass seems to flow seamlessly into the concrete with no visible window-posts.
