The Pediatric Oncology Facility is to inspire children through their individual transformation while receiving their treatment. A nest and the natural process of a baby bird inspired the building itself. Just like a nest this facility provides safety and security, which allows children to grow strong.

5 . 6 . 7. 8 . The varying materials and heights seen in Brooklyn’s skyline inspired Brooklyn Heights men’s shoe store. The main display specifically is comprised of cubes varying in height and material to mimic the Brooklyn skyline.

9.1 0.1 1.1 2 . By incorporating many traditional winery features such as rustic wine barrels and then adding a modern twist with sleek lines Strewn’s updated design will attract new clients young and old.

1 3.1 4 . The booth’s design was to compliment the R-house design with out distracting viewers from the home. The varying timber posts create visual interest as people pass through, while the light boxes highlight the main contributors to the home design.

NORMERICA-MODEL HOME

1 5 . 1 6 . 1 7. 1 8 . Normerica Homes conducted a competition to design a model home that would eventually become part of their new line of modern sustainable houses. This twostory house design won third place in the competition and has many sustainable features that make it a unique home.

-Worked along side my professor & industry professionals to collaborate on the design of the 2012 National Home Show dream home in the later stages of the process -Guided visitors through the completed house & provided information to them

-Participated in an ARIDO fundraiser to support SKETCH a Toronto arts organization for street youth -Designed a pair of Blundstone boots that were auctioned off at the event -Boots were showcased on Breakfast Television and at the Bata Shoe Museum

-Directly involved in the renovation of a trailer home for a single mother of three -Supervised construction work -Team leader for the duration of the trip
