Synthesis In the framework of the project discipline, Bachelor of Product Design, the Higher School of Art and Design, we were asked to develop a kettle for hotels. This project is intended to create a kettle, functional with aesthetic values and that it has a competitive price. Resilience and effectiveness will be the key points in development.
Electric kettle, inspired by Japanese and Chinese culture. Its main reference is the sakĂŠ bottles. Made in ceramic with plastic base, with 360Âş connection to allow an easy plugin of the kettle to the base. The base will have a touch screen that will allow the configuration of the temperature and keepwarm, with simple interface and easy to use by any type of person. The base in contact with the boiler will be glass, its physical and mechanical properties, its most modern visual aspect, the rest will be based in plastic due to price and its construction. This kettle will have a battery that will allow the user to carry the base with the tea and the kettle to any room, as the battery will allow the system to keep the keepwarm system that will keep the kettle water temperature for 2 hours. which allows the user to be accompanied or alone may be
rested over a long period of time without having to worry about turning on the kettle every 20 minutes because the water would be getting cold. It will have room for up to 5 small cups of 75 ml, the capacity of this kettle is equivalent to about 16 cups of 75 ml. It will have an easy-to-use filter that will allow you to make the tea directly in the kettle, with a network of micro holes that allowed a tea without deposit without debris that should not be drunk.
