SEPTEMBER 12, 2017 “I just got to a point in my life where I realized that I needed to take care of myself and make sure I am the best person I can be inside and out. I started with a trainer from September to December. I had never done any weight training before and I live close to the MacEwan University Sport and Wellness, so that made it very convenient for me. Meeting the wonderful trainer helped me realize that I wasn’t going through this alone. You matter, so put yourself first and take charge of your health!”

“I have been an on-and-off gym guy for many years prior to MacEwan University Sport and Wellness, but I had a major injury to my back about 10 years ago, and it really reinforced the importance of overall health and fitness. I spend much of my time working on exercises that strengthen my weakness from that accident and improve my quality of life. For me, the staff and the location of the gym has been a huge plus. The people are always friendly and knowledgeable and the location of the facility makes my visits easy and basically mandatory. The variety of equipment available makes it easy to do this because there are many variations I can do to keep my workouts fresh and entertaining.”
