How to clean MacBook Pro Trackpad?

The trackpad is Touchpad of MacBook Pro which serves the same function as of mouse. But over time, dust particles, oil, and moisture stick upon the surface of the pad and button which reduces its functionality day by day. Regular cleaning is necessary to prevent the dirt to interfere with the functionality of the touchpad. So here, we as MacBook Technical Support provided the complete process for clean-up of the trackpad of your MacBook. Just follow the below process properly. •

First of all, clean the touchpad of your device with a dry cloth whenever you feel moisture on it. Basically, moisture comes from humidity and condensation.

•

Now switch off your laptop and turn it so that the bottom comes in front. Then take out the batter by unlocking it from its bay and keep it aside.

Then turn your laptop and open its cover.

Now take a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth which feels dry to the touch and then wipe out the trackpad gently from all sides. Also, wipe the button of trackpad from all the side and remove all dirt and moisture from these parts.

Weekly disinfect the touchpad and remove the skin oil and another build up dirt from it with a disinfectant cloth. Apple normally suggests using the Lysol wipes or any Kitchen wipes.

You can also vacuum the dry spills and blot away and for moist spill use a dry cloth. Wipe along the edges of the button as needed.
