➀

What is The Bles

The Blessing Pact is the formula through which God will be able to supply all your need and bless you in every area of your life: personally, in your marriage, in your family and children, in your church and in your land.

4

YES, I will do it And I expect a miracle! [ click here ]

s ssing Pact? A “pact” means an agreement, your alliance, a convention. The Blessing Pact is actually your agreement, your alliance, your convention, your pact with God. The Blessing Pact is God’s law of faith to supply all your need. It is Biblical. It is proven. It is for today. God’s principle to bless you through The Blessing Pact consists of three points:

“My God shall supply all of your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19

Receiving from God Receiving from God is the result of your giving to God. You give before you receive. Jesus says:

God is your Source God is your source. All other sources are not real sources, but instruments God uses to bless you; therefore, only put your trust in the Source and not the instruments. Trust God! The apostle Paul says it this way:

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you” Luke 6:38

YES, I will do it And I expect a miracle! [ click here ]

5

‘‘The evidence of your faith is that you look to God as your Source of provision.’’ In other words, your giving is a kind of “Seed of Faith”; only then is God able to multiply and return it back to you in order to supply all your need.

Expect a miracle Before you can expect a miracle for yourself, you will first have to prove that you really believe for your miracle. God manages the source, or better said the instrument of the expected blessings as well as the unexpected blessings; therefore, remain faithful in giving and see what all God is able to do. When God manifests the miracle you have waited for, you will recognize it and receive it from His hand.

6

The Bible says:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

The evidence of your faith is that you look to God as your Source of provision. To prove that God is your Source, you plant a “Seed of Faith” in the form of a gift so that God can multiply what you plant/give and will be able to return it back to you. This is how God will meet all of your need. This is the formula of your Blessing Pact with God.

The mir

The disciples also had to learn to trust God at His Word. They experienced something incredibly amazing. The Bible gives us an account:

racle catch “So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, ‘Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.’ But Simon answered and said to Him, ‘Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will

let down the net.’ And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, ‘Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!’ For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, ‘Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.’” Luke 5:1-10

‘‘By acting in obedience to what Jesus said, they activated their faith.’’

/

A hopeless situation

Jesus walked around the Lake of Gennesaret followed by a multitude of people who all had a great need in their life. While He stood in front of all these people at the waterside, his eye caught another group of a few people not too far from where He was standing. These people were disappointed and discouraged. They had toiled all night long. They had nothing to show for all of their hard work. Their boat was empty. Their nets were dirty and broken. Their bills were piled high. The entire situation was hopeless.

10

Jesus noticed this. Jesus saw that the fishermen felt hopeless and that they were at the end of their rope spiritually as well as financially. This caused them to feel down, depressed, and fearful. No fish means no business. No business means no money. No money, but they did have bills. “What should I do?” “How do I get through this?” “How do I deal with this?” “How do I pay all my bills?” How many people today are dealing with the same fear and hopelessness? All you are looking at is bills, bills, and more bills.

YES, I will do it And I expect a miracle! [ click here ]

/

Jesus’ thoughts as opposed to the disciples’ thoughts

Jesus thought differently than His disciples. He was thinking of a miracle for this group of disappointed people: a “miracle catch” to meet all their need. That is why it was for their own good when He asked if He could borrow their boat for a little bit. He asked them to sail a little off shore, so that He would be able to speak to all those people. Jesus asked them to do something, so that they would be able to concentrate on something different instead of on all their failed efforts.

After Jesus had spoken to the people from inside the boat, He turned towards the group of fishermen. He was still thinking about these disappointed fishermen. He remembered their desperation, their empty boats, and broken nets. He knew that they had many bills that still needed to be paid and that they had no money. Then Jesus tells them candidly: “launch out into the deep to let down your nets”. Simon Peter answers: “But Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing”. So you see what is happening here? Their minds were fixed on all their hard work without any result, but Jesus’ mind was fixed on their miracle catch. Their thoughts were focused on the shallow water.

YES, I will do it And I expect a miracle! [ click here ]

11

The thoughts of Jesus were focused on the deep. They were thinking of those long and lonely nights that had resulted in nothing good. Jesus was thinking of a clear, sunny day during which they should launch out one more time and God would supply all their need.

12

Jesus was not thinking of Himself when He asked them if He could borrow their boat. No, He thought of the multitude of people who were waiting at the shore. They needed the Gospel. Now He was thinking of the fishermen when He asked them to launch out into the deep and let out their nets once again. Jesus thought of their need and how this could be solved. I am so glad that they were obedient and loaned their boat to Jesus! What would have happened if they would have said no to Jesus because of their disappointment?

‘‘This is what I call a good, pressed down, shaken together, net-tearing, boat sinking, running over catch!’’

/

Faith in action

When Jesus said: “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets there”, they showed Him exactly what they had been focused on: “We have toiled all night and caught nothing!” But fortunately, they concluded with the words: “Nevertheless at Your Word we will let down the net.” What they actually meant by saying this was: “Lord, we will return to Your Word and we will quit trying to do this our way. We will just do it exactly as You said.” Peter said in other words: “OK, I will do it and I expect a miracle from You!”

And so they did. With Jesus in the boat they further sailed to the deeper water and let down their nets. By acting in obedience to what Jesus said, they activated their faith in order to bring in their miracle catch. In a matter of seconds, the entire net was filled with fish. It was even so full that it looked like it was going to tear. There was no stopping it. The fish kept coming! It looked like the boat was even going to sink! They had to get help from a second boat to bring in the miracle catch. This is what I call a good, pressed down, shaken together, net-tearing, boat sinking, running over catch!

Seeing Jesus as He really is

First, this looked like a financial problem for Peter, but in reality, this was a spiritual problem. When Peter was able to see this, He realized for the first time who Jesus really was. His view of Jesus before that was that He was a common man of flesh and blood, and that was what Jesus was; however, Jesus is more than just a man! Peter was able to see that now. He saw Jesus as Lord and Miracleworker, as the One who supplies all our need, the great Provider. It was at this point in Peter’s life that Peter longed for a deeper relationship with God. It will be in the

Often they are so desperate and do not know what to do anymore. Many times they ask me, “Does God still love me?” “Does God still hear me when I pray?” Maybe you also have a need in your life today, and you are asking yourself, “Does God care about me?” Today I want to challenge you to trust God at His Word and to do what He says. This will begin to help you activate your faith so that God will supply all your need. Do you still remember?

This is the Bible. This is what it literally tells us. This is real. God means what He says when he says, “I shall supply all your need.” God loves you. God cares about you.

Yes, also in the time when you thought, “Where is God right now when I need Him so very much?” He waits until you realize that your need is spiritual. When you have made things right with God by asking Him for forgiveness, then return to His word. In other words: read your Bible, believe your Bible and do what the Bible says. God has given me The Blessing Pact for my wife, Regina and me, for our children, for our co-workers, and for everyone who will trust God at His Word. The first step always is becoming saved; that is to give your life to Jesus and to put Him first in your life; after that you may step into The Blessing Pact with God. mself is urce Of course there are things you need to take care of yourself; however, the Bible teaches us that God Himself is the Source for all our provision - crisis or no crisis! You must do what the Bible says and trust God at His Word. This is the area where many who are dealing with financial difficulties are missing the point.

/

God is true to His Word

Today you can put into practice what God says in His Word. In the way you put your trust in other people who possibly are able to help you, you should put your trust in God and His Word. One thing is for sure: God is true to His Word. He will not disappoint you.

“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

Jesus knows all about your financial need, and He wants you to know that God Himself is the Source to supply that need. At least, if you have the courage to trust Him at His Word and to do what He says. Jesus says, “You must first give, then you will receive back more than abundantly”. In other words: the bigger the sacrifice, the bigger the blessing!

22

Have you ever given God a true sacrifice? Maybe you say, “Well, I have put something in the offering at times” or once in a while I support a good cause.” That is not the kind of sacrifice I mean. What I mean is have you ever given an offering that costs you? Something you could not afford to give? Something you could actually not do? If you have never done this, it is high time for The Blessing Pact, to start trusting God at His Word. God says, “Try Me now in this!” Today, put God first in your life and in your giving. Maybe your eyes are being opened this day. Maybe you have never heard what Jesus says about giving and receiving and this is all new to you. Maybe you are only looking to your bank account, employer, authority, etc., but not to God and His Word. Today God is speaking to you and

Contract with SBS6

It makes me think of the moment when I had to sign the contract with SBS6. That was in March of 2008, when we started with our weekly television programs. God had spoken to me “Do it, but it was at the time when there was not any provision possible, only bills, bills, and more bills. I knew that the cost was horrendous, but it would open the door to take the gospel in almost every living room in Holland, and in the hospitals, rest homes, prisons, mental institutions, hotel rooms, etc. I also knew that I would need the support of many people to pay the bills. Regardless, I understood how God always works whenever I am bringing about something new God wants to do. Usually He allows me to start with nothing else but a huge giant standing in my way. ‘‘I have been able to learn not to look at my empty nets, but at the wonderful catch of fish.’’ says, “David, give Me your boat, launch out to the deep, and let down your nets.” At a young age, I learned that when God says, “Do it”, I must not try to figure out how I can come up with my own solutions. God has taught me never to look at myself and the circumstances, but to Him. I have been able to learn not to look at my empty nets, but at the wonderful catch of fish that He will give if I am willing to be obedient. God desires to give the miracle catch of fish because He wants to reach the people with His Word and His saving, healing, and delivering power.

That does not mean that things have been easy in regards to bills, because it is one thing to get on television and another thing to stay on it. Every month God has to supply a wonderful catch of fish, because we do not receive subsidy. Although every program is another step of faith, we are grateful to the Lord with each program and we are happy and at rest. The result of each program is wonderful. People are searching for God. The prayer requests are endless, however, we are able to see the hand of God in filling the nets of people who are saying, “I will do it and I expect a miracle!

sing Pact is f life It is a way of life. It is important that you will realize what your need is and that you will not be able to come up with your own solutions. You need God. You need a miracle. When you recognize this, it is a good beginning to expect a miracle from God.

/

A character change

Today you could take a step in faith and say from the depth of your heart, “I will do it and I expect a miracle!” Believing and confessing is very important with this. The great fisherman, Peter, also had to come

to this point in order to be able to say this. Although Peter did not understand it, and he had fished all night catching nothing, he said, “OK Lord, at Your Word I will do it.” This would not be the last time either. Why not? Because when you say, “Yes Lord, I will do it and I expect a miracle!” you are undergoing a character change. You are going to do what God says in His Word. It is a way of living and of thinking. Whenever you look at Peter’s life you will see a big change from this point on. You can tell that the principle of The Blessing Pact became his way of life..

YES, I will do it And I expect a miracle! [ click here ]

31

‘‘The Blessing Pact needs to start in your heart and in your thinking.’’

The Blessing Pact is a treaty, a covenant, a pact between God and you. It is not a pact between you and me. I am just an instrument that God is using today to share with you the secret of The Blessing Pact. I am helping you by freely speaking to you about this. Of course, I do pray for you, but only God can perform the miracle for you.

32

/

A spiritual experience

The Blessing Pact needs to start in your heart and in your thinking. It will then automatically manifest in your giving. When it starts in your heart, The Blessing Pact will not only be about the financial benefits it provides, it will go far beyond that. It becomes about a life of obedience to God and His Word. For many people, this means a completely new way of life. If you make all the money in the world and you are able to pay all of your bills and buy anything you want but lose your soul, how then will all your money and possessions profit you? Jesus says:

YES, I will do it And I expect a miracle! [ click here ]

“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” Matthew 16:26

When Peter in obedience loaned his boat to Jesus, launched out into the deep, let down his nets and brought in the biggest catch of his life, the most important thing was not the huge catch of fish through which he was able to pay all of his bills. It was that overwhelming realization of his spiritual need to go to Jesus and to worship Him with “Lord!” Although Peter received a tremendous financial blessing, the deeper relationship with

the Lord was the most important thing he received from The Blessing Pact. In other words: your Blessing Pact with God is a spiritual experience. It means that you commit all the details of your life into the hands of God and trust God at His Word. It means that you stop focusing your circumstances. It means that you return to God’s Word and literally do what Jesus said. It means that you will say, “Yes Lord, I will do it and I expect a miracle!”

Surrender yourself completely to God

Some people today give themselves without giving any money. Some give their money without giving themselves. Neither one will work. Why not? Because we cannot separate our earned income from our life. When God said, “Give” He meant, “Give of yourself”. When you surrender your life to God, you also give your time, your talents, and your money. That is The Blessing Pact that I joined in with Jesus. He is extending that same offer to you today. It is not always the easiest way, but it is the Biblical way, God’s way. The blessing

34

of God accompanies everyone who chooses to walk this way. Only God’s blessings make a person rich.

“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22

It all has to do with your faith in God and His Word. It is Biblical, it is practical, and it works through The Blessing Pact. It has nothing to do with magic. God performs miracles when we put our faith into action.

t cle of God Peter must have expected his miracle from God, because as an experienced fisherman, he would have never returned to the deep water. After a long, unproductive night of fishing, Peter did not have any faith in the deep water. He had fishing down to a science yet he had no results. He did not expect a miracle from the deep. He expected his miracle from Jesus. The Blessing Pact is an instrument of God’s Word. Jesus is the Source. Jesus is the Miracle Worker. Jesus is the One who cares about you.
