When they washed up on the beach, They got stuck in the sand. People came from everywhere, To lend a helping hand. The children are so playful, They come and scrub their skin. Wet their Big, Fat, Bodies, So it’s not dry anymore. Seeing anyone die is tragic, But seeing an animal It devastating and unbearable. We watch in anticipation, As we hold our breath, Close our eyes, Say our prayers, And wish them the Very Best! But finally they told us The news....

I arrive on the scene In response to this emergency These poor whales Almost dying and scared to death All they want is water I need help with these whales I call Head Office we need volunteers There are so many of them The sand’s suction is holding them tight on the beach Our only hope is to break the grip We need to big boats to drag the net To scoop up the whales and release them To the ocean And to their freedom

Helping out, lending a hand, Someone who will understand. Whales on the beach Like sad, helpless souls Not what you want to see, Sick, dying whales, For everyone to see. We try to shift their bodies, Bodies of cement But they are stuck to the sand GO, GO, GO, We all move into action. But the suction is holding them down Like super glue sticking to your hand These whale will be here, But their life and soul will be gone, It is up to us to help them out, But it is taking too long. They are on the edge of death It’s life or death, we are trying to do all we can, but time is running out... FAST!!

Whales are dying everywhere I know... I’m the expert but this is a hard case I walk around to inspect their health, I have never seen a more hurtful Case.

They lie there on their death beds, And I really can’t do much. My research, is ongoing, But I don’t think, They’ll last long.

These poor, Dying whales. Really don’t have... Long

I could hear the people calling, as they walked up to me as they splash a piece of the sea on to me now I feel so clean, so refresh, but knowing that death is near, is a daunting feeling But, the feeling the sand sucking my body I cannot begin to breathe, with all of my dead family surrounding me the water was too far for me to reach, like reaching for the star millions of mile away It is draining out my life and hope to survive. As I was washed onto the beach, The feeling of sadness, Unhappiness, doesn’t begin to describe how I feel. For not only myself but my baby Nemo, I am frightened for her safety And for the endless sea that will swallow her up. I cannot die For my sake and Nemo’s

I’m all alone, With nowhere to go. I’m hungry, i’m scared. I don’t think i can bear My body is drying up. The people splash water on me, To keep me cool and dry. They come to inspect my health, It takes up all their time. I really want my mummy, I tried to call, Mummy Mummy She has left me by myself.

The people come up, and flashes of light are directed at me. Surrounded by many people, But feeling so alone It scary, Being in place That you have never been before. I want to go home With family with my mum beside me.
