A Christmas Carol is a heart-warming play with music, singing, and dancing.

There’s lots of jokes and laughter. There’s also some sad scenes and supernatural elements, such as ghosts and magic.

Ear Defenders are available at the kiosk if you need them.

If you feel overwhelmed, you can go to the Café/Bar. This area is usually quiet while the show is on.

The Lyric team members might be there cleaning or setting up for later, but if you need anything they will be happy to help.

If you would like to return to the theatre, just ask a Lyric team member, and they will help you. You may be seated in a different seat than before.

Half way through the show there will be a break. For 20 minutes, the show stops, and the lights come back on. This is the best time to go out for a break, to use the bathroom, or to get something else to eat or drink.

When it is time for the show to start again, you will hear an announcement asking everyone to go back to their seats. This announcement will be repeated every couple of minutes and can be heard throughout the building.

You don’t have to clap or stand up if you don’t want to.
