May we doff a very natty hat to Barth Bialek, the winner of the Irish Tatler Most Stylish Man at the Lexus Chase Day, which took place at Leopardstown Racecourse over the Christmas period. Originally from Poland and now living in Kildare, Bialek cut a sartorial dash in William Hunt red trousers, Hackett sports jacket and a cashmere jumper from Monaghans, which were accessorised with a Christian Dior scarf and tie. Heritage chic at its finest.

As the fifth season of the critically-acclaimed drama – which follows the lives of the ruthlessly competitive men and women working at an advertising agency on New York’s Madison Avenue in the 1960s – kicks off on Sky Atlantic, Jon Hamm, who stars as womaniser Don Draper, recently revealed the Don-Joan dynamic will be explored in the new series. And watch out for the third episode which sees Hamm step behind the camera to assume directing duties with a blistering debut.
