I remember being always tired. My best mate and I suffered from the same problem. All through university and into our first jobs, tiredness was our biggest enemy. Always feeling tired is in fact a much more common problem than I thought. Now however, I have overcome my biggest enemy and I'm going to tell you what I did. I originally looked at the easy option. I went to the doctors, as did my mate for a blood test. I wanted the problem to be identified and solved with medication. The tests came back showing we were both equally healthy so there was nothing they could do. I hated being always tired so I decided to do something about it. That is the first step, deciding to do something about it. This is where I differed from my mate. He did nothing and is still asking 'Why am I always tired?' The first thing I did was go for a run twice a week. Don't get me wrong; this is incredibly difficult to get done. I reasoned with myself, 'if I get out of the house and run 100 yards and come back then that is better than nothing'. So I did, and sometimes I only ran to the end of the street, but here is the key, it gets easier. Nest I bought a bike for $45 on eBay. I rode it to the train station a couple of times per week. It only took me three minutes one way but guess what? I enjoyed it. I also made some other changes. I improved my diet, not a great deal but the change definitely helped. I simply cut out one packet of chips per day and increased my fruit intake to five portions per day. Guess what? I encountered what I had encountered before. Difficult at first but then it gets better! Another key to conquering tiredness is quality sleeping patterns. I finally admitted to myself that I couldn't catch up on sleep that I thought I had missed out on. That was difficult for me as I loved sleeping! You need to get into the habit of going to bed at the same time each night and getting up at the same time each morning. This was possibly the most difficult thing I had to do but I did it and it was so worth it. Eventually you don't need an alarm clock anymore. Finally, the most important part (as long as you haven't got a physical problem that is making you tired all of the time) is... find something you love. I know it isn't simple. That love can be a person, a pet or a thing. I developed a love for stock trading and it really gives me motivation. It makes me

enthusiastic. All of these things I have spoken about in this article has allowed me, not my mate, able to say now I'm not always tired.
